Wow just like Santa. You must be a world traveler or wait maybe you are Santa Say Santa I'd like a little road racer that will beat Badger. Oh and a C10 to transport it over the pond.

Nice work Jonathan! Once you get to drive it, you may find that you have to bleed the clutch again, but she's good enough for now. Have a good one! 👍
@Badgertronix7 жыл бұрын
+stuzman almost certainly it will need bleeding again but at least there is fluid in the system finally. Thanks Terry

+N Smith me too! The biggest problem at the moment is getting the car over the grass to the road! Cheers

Clutches can be a right pain if you're on your own. I normally leave gravity to do the work if there is a lot of air in them.
@Badgertronix7 жыл бұрын
+zoidberg444 it might need a bit more bleeding but will get a helper. It's good enough for now. Cheers!

Great indoor weather mate!! I might have to ask for a copy of that check off list....
@Badgertronix7 жыл бұрын
+Jimmy definitely indoor weather! What are you doing to your Golf?

Badgertronix hey mate, ATM I've just taken out all the struts. Lf is faulty and Lr is leaking so hoping to just replace all of them. I've got an engine mount to replace a steering boot and some interior fix up to do. Nothing too major.... however, I like to do stupid stuff so I've been looking to chuck in an R32 motor and do a manual conversion at the same time... wishful thinking....
@Badgertronix7 жыл бұрын
some nice easy jobs to start with :) Stupid stuff is always good although finding the bits to do it with in NZ is a bit of a mission. R32 parts go for big money. I need to figure out what's going to be the next step for this car once it's back on the road.

would you reccomend that bleeder? im struggling bad with a g60 clutch , tried a pressure bleeder and reverse bleed via a syringe....worth trying it or what? cheers
@rhkips7 жыл бұрын
Really hard to say how the clutch will respond 'til you actually have a chance to drive it. The pink line is a nice touch, though! Definitely +10 hp there!
@Badgertronix7 жыл бұрын
Exactly my thoughts. It may need some 2 man bleeding but there is definitely a pedal there. It's supposed to be purple because the Mrs keeps telling me my Mystic Blue Golf is actually purple

When you get it done we'll be the first ones to ride in it right? Can't wait to see some country side from the car.
@Badgertronix7 жыл бұрын
+wyattoneable absolutely but you'll need to wait for the floods to clear and the ground in front of the workshop to firm up so I can get it out of there

I got one of those bleeders.... But it just makes me shout "bleeding" thing!
