Will It Start? Junkyard Pink Floyd Golf 3! ( Big Surprise! )

Interesting day working on the pink floyd golf 3 to see if I could get it started in our process to hopefully save it from being crushed! Excited to say the car started right up even though it ran out of gas in the end lol

As my first car,i had a golf mk3 variant (had the same colour and pink floyd edition). At that time ,i worked in scrap yard and there was an old man who wanted to give it away to scrap,because his engine was overheating and he got tired after fixing the car all the time. Bought the golf from him,changed the thermostat and it ran perfect. (drove about a year and sold it to other ppl after). As the first car,it was perfect.

Bro nice content as usual, I sold my mk5 2.5 jetta at the end of summer last year......it was NOT EASY TO LET GO😥. I've been going through some hard times. Sensational! We had these Golf MK3 here in Brazil but ours came from Mexico. German we only had the Golf GL 1.8 i with the single point injection in 1995 and they are easily identifiable by the side flashing on the mudguard like this green there. To follow you and save from Brazil!

A lot of MK3 doesn't have the fuel warning light. I had a GTI 8v and despite the gaquge cluster had the mounting hole for the bulb, didn't had it, and didn't work. You had to eyeball the amount of gasoline that is left in the tank. Usually the needle goesa little below the last red line, and that's your last warning. In the GTI meaned that you have 10-20km of gasoline left being VERY careful.

1:18 My previous mk3 had the same engine. a 1.8 Automatic. That plug needs to be unplugged. dont know why, maybe universal wiringharness. Thanks for the upload, im going to enjoy it.

These 1.8s are dead reliable, I have one in my car. They're not common over here in Canada lol. Gonna ditch it and put an ABA turbo in though.

I have a 1.8 vw mk3 golf but I am having a throttling problem . I bought two idle control valve and two tp sensor but each time I connect the idle control valve the car start to rev up

It's such a mystery There are so many clues against each other European cars, Ford Ka + Mondeo, Opel Corsa + Astra, Renault Megane But american dude , with american accent All cars are left sided steering, and automatic gearbox , which makes you think America But the speedo is KMH so it make you think maybe Canada or mexico or elsewhere than America He buys oil and fluids and the brand is in English and measurements are in imperial 'quarts' and such His colleague has an English sounding name I don't know hahah I think America , but they have a large amount of imported German scrap cars???
