This specific product is meant to be ran through the pump and injectors directly. It's extremely concentrated. The fuel mixed in, the better the results.

he hasn’t thought of it yet ? i say pour the purge right into the filter and if it will take some diesel then top to fill up the fuel filter

Do you cycle the key once and leave on while using a vacuum pump or keep cycling it? Mine is a BEW which has a lift pump and tandem both new. Head has no diesel present proven when I pulled the glow plugs and completely dry. Thanks for any info.

+Ryan VWDiesel just curious. I'm thinking about switching to diesel. I usually add a bottle of Lucas fuel system cleaner to a full tank of gas at every oil change with my current car. It has 175k and no major issues just wear and tear, even has original clutch.

Vipul Jadhav When low on fuel just pour it in & top it with a litre or two of diesel. But you must do this only when your few miles away from changing fuel filter (service)in your car. After mixing run for 45kms & then change fuel filter. As mixed fuel will need to travel throught the pump & lines which hold a few litres

You can but it’s a waste of the purpose of what it is used for but if your lazy and don’t wanna waste it it can jus go into ur diesel fuel tank and you’ll be fine

I have seen videos where before the diesel purge treatment the fuel pump fuse is taken out? is that necessary?

Not on the alh engine code cars. They do not have an electronic lift pump

Always use transparent bottle so you can see when the liquid is almost done, otherwise you will suck air into the lines and it's a big problem. Never use this original can for purge..

That engine sounds perfect! It's a diesel. It's not a gasoline engine.

I'm guessing that you know what a diesel is. These ALH engines are of an older injection style than the newer common rail type. They do not have a "softened" injection cycle that lowers the ignition noise. These are old school mechanically timed injection engines. The newer diesels injection cycles are completely controlled by the computer and have their injection cycles "softened" in order to get rid of the inherent clatter noise from the diesel ignition.....So yeah, what MH said.
