No just pull on it hard towards you. But there is a small hole left behind.

With all of them. I’ve seen people with out the buttons doit too they got the power from the horn. I didn’t have a base model car to test on so I can’t fully confirm my self but I’ve seen it done.

Hi mate, just installed this but the horn is now stiff and barely works, I think my issue is the connector stoping the horn from engaging so Im going to have to try and move it, did you have this issue?

Try to move it out of the way of the springs

It works off the obd2 so it should. Any mk6 wheel. Just swap over the trim. Also if it’s dsg order the dsg version.

Just make sure with a volt meter that’s it’s not a constant power. And only gives you a reading with the key in the on position

That's the only one with 12v and 0 without key but some how the battery died and that's a new battery,

Test that your alternator is not going bad. Or for a drain of power at the fuse box

Could be one of two things bad ground or bad connection. Double check both.

If it’s the same stile steering wheel yes it will if you have the new mk7 round steering wheel no you have to get the mk7 one but it’s cheaper. And it’s the same I stall process. Just type mk7 carbon led steering wheel on allíexpress

I got it used from Facebook. Retail on original one was 800/1000 at that point. These are more common now and I think alli express has them for like 600 now so just go and search for the right model. Depending on if manual or dsg.

Find which cable brings power to the airbag. That’s the one you need to use.

Check voltage with the bolt meter. One of the cables should be a 5v source.
