I actually had this happen, but later I was able to fix my lost day time running lights. I tried the fix from obdeleven, didnt work! I had to do some sleuthing on golfmk7 online forum to remove the urban joke mod, return my car to stock tail lights.It was actually quite easy to turn on the amber indicators after this was done. My recommendation is to find those instructions on the forums. Its so easy.

You guys offer excellent service, thanks for this video. I purchased obd11 from you and used the urban joke app. When you offered those helix led taillights on sale for Black Friday I purchased them. Should I use the urban joke app to program back to standard before using the led app? From what I understand from your video that is a yes, but I want to make sure. Thanks. As a second thought the helix lights came with the wiring harness. Have you received any calls on your app working with that harness. Thank you, a loyal customer.

Ahh yup. I learned this the hard way before this video came out! Had urban joke and tried coding myself straight to led euro, it was all sorts of screwed up. Took 2 hours to resolve

Can I ask what that resolution was? I'm on hour 10 and am just not using the harnesses for the time being. I even tried manually coding it all and it all seemed fine. I think urban joke screwed me up, I emailed them but no reply as yet.

Quick question. Do you know how to get the rear fog coded with the odb11? I have euro switch and wires but turned it fully off because I couldn't get the switch to work

We include all the rear fog coding with our wire.

Hey I just installed a pair of Chinese made Mk7.5 headlights on my MK7 and the Day Time Running lights won't turn on. The turning signal is good though. Does that mean I'll need some coding to get them to turn on?
