I successfully completed this PCV swap on Saturday while doing my spark plugs and coil packs (since I already was going to have them out). It was much easier than I expected and any questions were answered when reviewing the vid again. I've noticed a vast improvement in my car's idle consistency- hopefully this was the gremlin I've been chasing after. Thanks for the DIY vid and the parts! 10/10

How did you get the coil pack to release the harness? I can’t get it off for the life of me
@chemicallyromantic1Ай бұрын
@arekjohnson2019 you have to release the it by lifting the small flat latch- some people seem to have the best luck with small screwdriver, I found a 90° hooked pick is the easiest for me. I slide the hook under the flat bit and hook the latch further down, then gently pull up until it clicks. You can then wiggle the pack up and move onto the rest. When all are lose, gently work them all off and set the bridge to the side. Using using a pack puller that you insert into the grounding bolt hole makes it easy peasy to remove the packs from the cylinders.

It is behaving as if it is stuck/vacuum sealed to the valve cover even with all seven T30 bolts loose and all outlet hoses detached.
