Mk8 Golf R with Invidia R400 valved catback exhaust

My mk8R currently has a racingline R600 intake system, Do88 intercooler and the invidia R400 catback. It is sitting on eibach springs, rotiform DTM's and has a full maxton designs bodykit

Nice, I have a mk8 gti - have an xforce exhaust but want something with a bit more of a tone to it, will be upgrading to an Invidia r400 soon.

@@heqsy3391 hey mate, the r400 is great. With a stock downpipe it's fairly quiet so everyday driving is nice, then you get on it and it has a bit of dog fart and crackle but not crazy. I also got a stage 1 racing line ecu tune it got louder but not unbearable

@@heqsy3391 I prefer the Invidia R400. I feel it has a better tone and rasp. I had the xforce with a res and no res and it was ok but the tone was just the same, just a deep brrrrr. I believe a downpipe will provide you with bangs and pops rather than the exhaust. I plan on getting an IE downpipe to pair with my R400.

They are actually genuine VW ones! Hit up your local dealer for mk8 slimline wind deflectors

Any drone? Also, how much louder than stock with the valves open and with the valves closed?

There's very occasional small amounts of drone on decel, but nothing while normal driving or at highway speeds. It's noticeably louder than stock, but it far from being obnoxious. The oem downpipe with 3 catalytic converters make that impossible

Will it fit an audi s3 sedan? Might need to extend tips but the rest should fit

Hey Rhys I wanna buy this exhaust for my mk8 r which is stock I just wanna ask will the farts be loud with this exhaust being stock I did have the r400 on my 7.5 golf r which I loved

The Mk8R comes with 3 cats, or 1 cat and 2 PPF's depending on your region. Because of this, just changing the catback doesn't make as big of a difference compared to the mk7/7.5R. It's definitely an improvement, but the biggest change comes when you swap the downpipe.

Pro speed racing stock them in Australia. They are brand new to market, so you might need to pre-order to get your hands on a system

Is it still stock tuned and resonated?

It was stock tune in this video without a resonator. The mk8R doesn't come with a resonator from the factory. The car currently has a 4 inch catless downpipe with a hotdog resonator added and is racingline stage 2 tuned.
