Since the new strat was found, people have been trying to look for set ups to get new SCs. I think this was originally found by ZumoDePapaya, and the idea is the same as WP: get a jump, downfall and land close to a wall, jump as soon as you land to get a huge bounce. There's still ideas but I don't think any other new sc has been found yet.

I’m not an expert on this game by any means, but to me it looks like it has something to do with the big bounce. It’s present in all the new shortcuts. Perhaps it lets you bounce over/through the invisible wall? It’s insane to see a shortcut revolution nearly 20 years later!
