Shujinko was the main character from Mortal Kombat: Deception. he was a student of Bo Rai Cho who wished to save Earthrealm by defeating Shang tsung in Mortal Kombat. The Dragon King Onaga lied to him, claiming to be a servant of the elder gods, and sent him on a quest to gather a bunch of relics from the various realms that would allow Onaga to have full control of the realms. Onaga imbued Shujinko with the ability to copy the powers and fighting styles of anyone he observed, allowing him to become very powerful. Shujinko was widely disliked for being too stupid to see through obvious lies and for causing so many problems for everyone else because of it. So Cassie's ending where she kills him is the game is the studio recognising his lack of popularity. (ironically his death made many players sympathetic towards him) Taven and Daegon are from Mortal Kombat Armageddon, they're the half-brothers of Rain and like him they're half-gods, half-edenians, sons of the edenian protector god Argus. Their mother was a seer and sorceress who foresaw the coming Armageddon and the brothers were sent on a mission to avert it. Daegon was corrupted over time and founded the Red Dragon to kill off the rest fo his family and claim the power of Blaze for his own. Taven was the games protagonist.

@@timemonkey I never really understood the hate for Shujinko. I always saw him as an individual who sought glory to to save his people so much he was blinded by that when approached by an ephemeral being claiming to be a servant of the Gods, but was ultimately deceived and did the opposite unleashing Onaga upon the realms (kind of like how Adam & Eve were tricked by the Serpent in the Garden of Eden and doomed humanity for a while in the Bible). His story was always tragic to me. And yeah sure, other characters at times tried to stop him and reason with him, but what can you really say to someone who wholly believes what he's doing serves a higher purpose like serving the Elder Gods, the highest beings in their realms? It's like trying to change someone's religious (or political in some cases) beliefs, it's not impossible, but it's certainly not easy.

So Shujinko, Taven and Daegon are from the PS2 Midway 3D MK trilogy. Shujinko is the one that was decieved by Onaga in Deception, and has the ability to be able to mimic anyone's powers he fights. Taven and Daegon are twins from Argus (Protector of Edenia) and Delia (a sorceress from Edenia). Also half brothers of Rain. Edenia is the homeworld of the Edenians, Sindel, Kitana, Jade, Tanya, and Rain. Unfortunately as time and time again, no one can unmerge Edenia and Outworld because of Shao Khan. Tanya's ending is a call back to her original timeline self, she's a traitor of Edenia as she let Shinnok into Edenia and was doing his bidding. About the One-Being, in MK lore the One-Being is the God of MK, as Shinnok's ending shows, merging all realms into one awakens the One-Being and can end all reality and kill the Elder Gods (immortal beings). If you still have Mondays left for February, try some Deadly Alliance, Deception or Armageddon endings. Or switch it up with some Injustice 1 or 2 endings. I just love Alien and Predator's endings, I love the idea of Xenomorph's with the powers of Mortal Kombat characters and the Predator with Sorcery Alien and Predator were the entire reason I started looking into Mortal Kombat in the first place

Sub Zero is for sure my favorite MKX ending. I also enjoyed Triborg, Kenshi, Takeda, Johnny Cage and Leatherface too. But again, Sub Zero’s ending is the best one in MK X by far

Yeah I agree with Mortal Kombat being TV Series especially with so much stuff going on. You have all these characters and all these realms, a 2 hour movie is nowhere near enough to really see everything. If someone willing to do a MK Series each episode is prolly gonna be like 45 minutes (like a CW show) and it's gonna need a few seasons but I don't want the series unless it's going to be done right (and yes I agree that James Gunn will should be the one to do it right. Everyone spam James Gunn in his DM's to direct this😂)

Yes Shang Tsung created Milena at Shao Khan's order to replace Kitana. Edenia was a realm like Earthrealm & Outworld. It was supposed to be a place of beauty and peace until Shao Khan defeated them in 10 straight MK tournaments and merged it with Outworld. Supposedly, the Edenians are long descendants of gods which is why they live so long and have magic. Sindel, Kitana (and by extension Mileena), Jade, Tanya and Rain are Edenian. Rain is actually the son of an Edenian woman and the god Argus, essentially Edenia's Raiden. And Taven & Daegon who were in the tower endings are Argus' children and half Edenian too.

A lot of these endings are connected but typically they're all non-canon except for Liu Kang and possibly Kitana's, since you see in MK11 they really did take over the Netherrealm. But a lot of fans like to use tower endings to predict the events of the next game. There were so many rumors about Mileena going to be in MK11 story because of the klones in her ending.

What’s up peoples😊 The old man in Cassie’s video she assassinated is Shujinko. He’s a man from MK Deception that got tricked by a spirit named “Damashi” who really was the Dragon King Onaga trying to come back to life, by having him get all 6 of the Kamidogu. Along the way though, Shujinko learned new powers from all of his masters in the game, but in all reality. Without knowing it. He pretty much brought the end of the realms🤷🏾‍♂️ Not a soul stealer, just a man that got caught up with the wrong person.

Edenia was the home of Katana,Rain,Tanya,Jade and Sindel who was married to king Jerrod the ruler of Edenia and it was peaceful until Shao Kahn came and conquered it and claimed Sindel as his wife and his daughter Katana and killed Jerrod but that was in the original timeline in the new timeline Sindel got tired of Jerrod acting like they were normal people and not Royals and when Shao Kahn came she killed Jerrod for him.

Shujinko is the man who narrates the intro opening of MK: Deception that you guys previously watched, and the reason the Dragon King Onaga, Outworld's emperor before Shao Kahn, returned more powerful than ever. Onaga deceived Shujinko into doing his bidding with promises of heroism, that's why MK6's title is Deception. Taven and Daegon are the protagonist and antagonist of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon's Konquest mode, which precedes the events of Armageddon's opening.

These endings are threads pulled and woven by an until now unseen and unknown force in the MK universe... a force called Kronika, an "Arkitekt" of not only time and space, but of causality and reality as well. Every tournament has had her hand in it, not just Nine and Ten's "new" reality. You'll meet her next week.

Shujinko who's name literally means like fuck up, was the main character in deception which I'll fight had the best MK story mode to date. He learns from a ton of the other fighters in game so his gimmick was he had a special move from like everyone. Taven and Daegon were the protagonist and antagonist of Armageddon. They were kind of bland, but Midway was like going under so I don't think they thought there would be another MK ever so they did what they could.

Totally worth it! Writing a novel is incredibly tough if you take it as seriously as you are taking it. You get out what you put in and we are glad you are so dedicated to writing it. Whenever you need a break we will be here. Also, it’s Blood Orange Liquor 😋 but they also have non alcoholic blood orange purée or syrup that could work.z just a dash is all you need 🙂

There actually is a Mortal Kombat TV series. It's done in that 90s, Xena, Hercules, etc style.
