@Dave Wesley These hotheads don't know how to fight, they have more chance of being injured from a broken bat or a unseen flying ball than each other. I've seen dozens of these fights and in no case was a punch thrown that could have caused any sort of serious damage. If the batter wanted to do some damage, they'd be swinging at the pitcher with their bat. If you pause and look at the punches, they're basically flailing their arms around, there's no energy behind the punches. Hockey players on the other hand know how to fight, I've seen plenty of bloody fights on the ice, and that's with all of their normal protection being on, which is pretty substantial.

I think the guys in the bullpen are the ones that they plan to break up the fights. Not smart since they’re so far away but even when both benches are full swinging you see the bullpen guys join together and drive right between the crowd separating them. They only stop walking and watch when they notice the majority of the benches have control of the fighters...... I watch too much mlb fights

not all games have the same rules towards fighting. hockey allows it for some reason cause it just two people fighting. in baseball, the entire teams go out on the field fighting that way is more dangerous cause there would be more fists being thrown therefore more injuries. that's how I see it

whenever a pitcher throws at a batter like this, will always believe at least 50 % thats its almost ALWAYS the catcher giving the signal to the pitcher just like he does with all of the other pitches throughout the game and that was why all those years ago, forgot what year it actually was but when the pitcher threw at the batter and hit him, the 1st thing the batter did even before he went after the pitcher and that was give the catcher a kick straight to his chest, thank god he was wearing that chest protector at the time, then he went after the pitcher, guess he thought that the catcher Actually did tell the pitcher via signal to actually throw and hit him........
