@mattbrendlen4 жыл бұрын
That's pretty bold... the Royals made it about as close to a championship as you can GET, the year before, without actually getting it... on a wild card, no less. So what do they do? They storm back the following year with the best record in the American League, all the way back to the World Series... and proceed to spank the Mets in five games... It wasn't even close, man... So it's pretty bold of you to say "they should've won". Royals fans can say "They should've won" in 2014, because they were RIGHT THERE... and I'm a Giants fan... WHAT ARE YOU EVEN TALKING ABOUT?!?
@Rangerstown004 жыл бұрын
@@mattbrendlen Wasn't even close? There were 2 games in that WS that weren't close. Game 2: 7-1 KC Game 3: 9-3 NY And the other 3 games? The Mets had the lead, and blew it late. Game 1: Mets blow 4-3 lead in bottom of 9th, lose 5-4 in extras (14) Game 4: Blow 3-2 lead heading into the 8th. Lose 5-3. Game 5: Blow 2-0 lead in top of the 9th, Royals win WS in extras, (12) The Mets were RIGHT THERE in all these games, they had a lead in EVERY GAME. Which begs me to ask... What are you even talking about?
@mattbrendlen4 жыл бұрын
@@Rangerstown00 Mets never had the lead in the series. In a seven game series, where you're going into game five, and your team is down three games to one... it's not close. Why "should" the Mets have won, if they never had a series lead? The 2016 Warriors, SHOULD have won the NBA championship. They won their division with not just the best record in the league, but the best record in basketball-EVER! They cruised to a 3-1 series lead against Cleveland, and they SHOULD have won... but they didn't. The Mets were never in a position to win that series. It doesn't matter whether they had a lead in a game, or not. Stop talking to me...
