This is a cool format. I played along and kept score. I also subtracted scores of the players when I matched them. Ultimately, Dalton had -2 for a 2 pointer i had, Joez had -7 with us each having a 3 and 4 pointer taken away and Ryan had -4 taking a couple 2 pointers away from me. Final score had me and Ryan tying with 17. Schmidt, Musial, and Mays in the last round saved me with an 8 point round.
@emophase22244 ай бұрын
I didn't do their math along with it but my biggest sneak picks were Pittsburgh and Detroit in the first round. I also had the Blue Jays but Joez had them

This is exactly how I play along. In my version Ryan had 16 and i landed right behind at 15. Totally botched the last round, Ruth only has One MVP to his name?

The last category reminds me that a key is to go as old as possible. Everyone on this channel pulls relatively recent names. Multiple Cy Youngs? Go Seaver or Koufax. Also, you shouldn't have to look up Frank Robinson to see if he has multiple MVP awards, given that he very famously has two.

Surprised nobody went old Yankees for mvps. Everyone always guesses recent. Berra, mantle, DiMaggio, maris gets you 11. Prob still have to defend Bonds though. Also with this format going with 1-2 all stars, WS, etc while playing defense on the major teams is probably the best strat.
I look forward to every time dalton sings in these videos as it just proves man’s got hella good music taste

Yeah, the problem with this format is you have to name the clear leaders, because it's too big a risk/reward proposition if you don't. Plus, I have a feeling you'll have a difficult time balancing the number of available points.

I just know of Juan Gonzalez having 2 sneaky mvp seasons. I like the new format. I was gonna say to keep it close on other categories like over 40 Homer seasons or strike outs over 200. you could only count the number over that spot. so if they had 211 strike outs it would be 11 points only, and Homeruns at 48 would be 8 points. Enjoy the videos!!!

Is it weird that I immediately thought Lincecum for Cy Youngs? The format had a little too do with it too. Angels were a sneaky All Star pick with 3.

I think with the new format they should only get the points for the amount an answer has over. So if it was 20 home runs and you said someone who had 30 you’d get 10 points instead of 30.

I feel like I was lucky that I scored a 29 and that was subtracting my points that they got... Reds and Pirates got me 10 first round; Koufax, Snell, and Scherzer got me 8 in round two; Brewers, Angels, and Guardians for 7 in the third round; Yount, and Ohtani got me 4 in the fourth round
