Jose Urquidy pitched a gem! He looked like a man on a mission. Great game! The Astros responded after their sub par performance in game 1. The bats are waking up. If all hitters can get on a roll, it will be difficult to stop them. Let's stay humble and take things a game at a time. The Braves are a good team, but I think experience will play a factor as we get deeper into the series. Let's go 'Stros!!!!

I agree Christian! You might find this interesting from my perspective. Being a lifelong Tiger fan, I would be lying if I didn’t admit getting a slight twinge of satisfaction seeing Drew Smily get pegged by Joe Altuve when he threw up that duck just as he had done in favor of the opposition in Detroit for so many years. Game 3 at home for Braves ...when you have a 2 strike count on you and 2 outs with runner on...you would think RILEY wouldn’t allow the pitcher to control the situation by stalling his windup for 8 seconds before the pitch...dam Riley should have called time out for himself to have control of the at bat....just bad baseball in critical moments!

As a braves fan, it’s hard to see a way to win the series for us. 1 of our aces has a broken leg, and the other plays horrible in big games. We’re done for, respectfully.

Not trying to take anything away from the Astros but the ump for these past two games has been atrocious. That first AB for Freddie should’ve been a walk and the calls that were getting made last game were beyond me.

Seemed like a consistently generous strikezone to me (as in for both teams). This takes into consideration that a pitch is technically a strike if ***ANY*** part of the ball passes through ***ANY*** part of the strikezone, and since the strikezone IS NOT merely a 2D plane on the front of the plate, but actually a 3D space above the plate, it's 100% physically impossible for the 2D digital strikezone square cast on the TV screen to represent the actual, full strikezone. I'm not saying that balls & strikes couldn't someday be called via an automated robot, but before we get to that point we really need to see how/that the strikezone can be rendered in 3D where the strikezone actually is: in 3D ABOVE THE PLATE!
@richardrubin17633 жыл бұрын
@@HTown99 however being human, Umpires like batters can PERCEIVE a strike that's not one and vis versa. These pitchers are just like magicians , the ball(hand) is quicker than the eye. So for that reason I'm for a electronic system. I don't won't to go to a magic show when I go to a baseball game.

WILL THE BRAVES LAY DOWN AGAIN IN A SERIES REGARDLESS OF MORTON GONE..BECAUSE REMEMBER THE 24 plus runs and 29 hits against the Marlins in regular season for the Braves and the very next day had only 5 hits and 3 runs with less effort at the plate with no patience at all...makes you think players shave runs off for Vegas

The throw from Rosario isn’t really his fault if you watch closely he’s tryna hit dansby Swanson bc he’s running towards 3rd but as soon as Rosario let’s go if the ball Swanson stops. If Swanson keeps going towards third Siri probably doesn’t score. But anyways go ASTROS !!!!!🤣🤣

Without defensive miscues from ATL, this game may have looked different. Glad Fried stayed in after that rough inning, Houston the juggernaut offense didn't seem to have his number or anything - he didn't give up anything with more than a 95 mph exit velo. Smyly out of the pen giving up the homer... wonder how the Braves will use him going forward.
