They DEFINITELY can't do that against good teams. Mets scouts should be looking everywhere for a guy (or two) who can get 3 outs without giving up a run.

Winning 2 out of 3 since the start of June and scoring an average of 5-6 runs per game. It's scary to think where the Mets would be if they'd even had an average bullpen during this stretch.

As a Mets fan, the broadcasting of the Mendoza argument (Met’s manager) was one of the best I’ve seen. -I enjoyed this one better than the Mets broadcast and that’s saying a whole lot. Wonderfully done Rockies booth! 👏

He's basically a 1 pitch pitcher now. Fastball up and in, that's it. That slider isn't breaking even remotely. They said that last one was his best one of the night and yet it hung middle middle. Hope he can get back to what he was. 2022 was electric when he was in, it felt like the game was over the second he walked onto the field.

This Mets team is not going to be like 2022, that's for sure. But this team is one of the most exciting and watchabale teams ever. This team started off pretty bad in May, but then Grimace came, and everything has gone right since. But god, someone fix this bullpen.

The reason the Rockies came back was cuz Mets coach told the pitcher to throw easy pitches so the Rockies could cover the +1.5 spread. Everyone had bet Mets -1.5, so vegas needed Rockies to lose by 1 or win so they called the Mets pitching coach during the game and told them to throw in some bum to pitch and tell him to throw easy pitches. Thats why the comeback was made

When was the last time a reliever had as long of a leash as Diekman? He's been beyond terrible for way too long. How many losses can be pinned single-handedly on him? Should've been DFA'd a while ago, I don't know what they seem to like about him that's keeping him around at this point. Blown leads are just about guaranteed with him. No team serious about winning games would still have him on their 26 man.
