Just wanted to do it differently, you can either add sodium hydroxide at the first place or sodium formate . The pH of solution should be around 2-3 if it persists percipitation you can add more sodium hydroxide to push Pd out

Hello picky i have a question for you about thiosulfate gold leaching, i was reading a journal and found the measurment: 0.12m thiosulfate (13.44gram of thiosulfate in 1liter water), 0.2m of amonia (3.4ml in 1liter water), and 20mikromolar of copper (ii). Picky can you make a recipe for me what's exatcly the measurment of each ingredient because if you dilute all of the ingredient above you would get a lot of solution (3 liters) also i don't know the mikro molar and what type of copper (ii) used.

It's an old school method which uses copper sulfate as an oxidizer when it binds with ammonia and forms a diamine complex but it's not very effective with e waste also is not practical even for ores

@edibandulan5266 0.2 molar sodium thiosulfate solution is ok no need to make ammonium Thiosulfate just dissolve sodium thiosulfate in 5% ammonia solution and add 5 grams per liter copper sulfate, tempreture 50-60 C keep solution agitated

Thanks buddy! Using any source of SO2 gas would not precipitate pure gold since it can reduce some of palladium. You can use Ferrous sulfate then you can drop palladium at ph 2 using sodium formate. But your best bet is to use sodium nitrite to make it you can simply decompose Sodium nitrate at 600° Celsius or you can reduce it to nitrite using SO2 gas in presence of CuO suspended in the solution as a catalyst.
