Maternity leave announcement! Baby girl was born 4/7/23 which means my maternity leave has officially begun. I’m sure it is mostly to keep her channel growing and in the algorithm, but she still could’ve chosen not to! It is really time consuming to make videos so I’m just saying I’m glad she chose to do that so we have new content to watch - even if there are multiple reasons that she did it!

There was a reddit post from a new mom who was harassed in Target by a person. The MLM pitch didn't come up because she tried to get away but the new mom was so upset, she was worried they were trying to human traffic her or her baby. She had Target staff members walk her to her car and she was paranoid for weeks. I'd bet money it was a bloody MLM hun. Now a new mom is beyond frightened for her infant because of the friggin target mlm huns.

@@Pippa87 Hannah covered a target story which is why I connected the dots to the reddit story, but this was definitely a separate incident. Im going to assume mlm hun's targeting day shopper moms and university students is the new latest and greatest way to recruit. Unfortunately, not all hun's have refined their technique yet. I guess in the reddit post the hun didn't get to her pitch before making the poor mom scared out of her witts. Beware shopping during the week day. They seem to follow a formula of compliment, questions, compliments, slightly more invasive questions, bragging about their lifestyle, slide in an insult, compliments, more invasive questions, more bragging, pitch.

In reference to the story about the first crush at church camp, I am SO. INCREDIBLY. PROUD. of her for calling him on his awful behavior!!! Whether or not it had any real affect on him, the fact that a young woman stood up for herself again such a jerk of a young man is WONDERFUL!!!

i also love how compassionate you are towards almost everyone in a MLM. I actually complimented someone at a Target the other day. The woman said to me that she wasn't joining my pyramid scheme. I was confused and she explained that people are recruiting at this store in particular. I told her that I really loved the floral patterns on her dress; she said it was Pioneer Woman and it was sold at Walmart. I thanked her and walked to where my item was that I was purchasing. I'm not a MLM hun.

The church story gets me since I grew up in churches. Being invited to and being drug by my mom to an awkward MLM "party" was just a normal Saturday. UGH! Anyways, my pastor recently announced in church that he would appreciate if "MLM pushing would cease." YES!!!!!! He reminded the congregation that "a place of worship is not to be a den of thieves." He elaborated with softer words, but I was truly impressed. I hope more pastors follow suit.

This is the first time I have heard 31 mentioned on this channel though it was in passing. I do have a tote bag from 31 I got as a gift and it is great. We have used it for taking loads of books back and forth from the library for like nine years. I did also attend a bunch of online Jamberry parties and I have a lot of Jamberry wraps before I knew about MLMs. According to the girl that always did the parties for my circle of friends and acquaintances, it used to be pretty good compensation wise. I believe it then got bought by another MLM and they changed their rules so that she had to spend a certain amount a month to remain active and at that she was out. I am glad she was smart about it.

Congrats on baby! For the Target store one, I’m a former employee. If something like this happens to you, please find an employee, manager, or security person and tell what is going on, giving a description of the person and where you last saw them. Chances are they are doing this to others, and Target should shut it down. Not only is it not allowed because it could impact their sales (no soliciting), it could lose guests if people are just bothered and leave and/or don’t come back.

A few months ago, I saw a post or comment from a guy who was some sort of hairstylist who also promoted Monet. The way he adressed the problems some people had with Monet - hair loss, lesions, etc., was to blame them for not rinsing sufficiently. Excuse me? I've apparently rinsed sufficiently with every other hair product I've used for my entire life, and I've never had any of those problems! He's blaming the victims here.

I hope mat leave is going well. I couldn’t imagine having a baby in the USA! I’m in Canada mat leave is 12 months or 18 months you choose. It’s paid by the government based on what you earn. The people that do 18 months typically have a job that also offers private mat leave as you get the same amount in total as 12 months it’s just smaller amounts. Mom has to take the first 6 weeks but after that the other parent can use some of those months if they want

Your body is healing and you are exhausted. My experience was feeling out of control, my life is pretty regimented schedule wise, so suddenly being pulled in a million directions was hard. It is an amazing time, but hard! I don’t think there is enough talk about your “4th” trimester. I hope you are healing,sleeping and enjoying that beautiful baby.

Hi Hannah. I read the thumbnail and HAD to comment as I’m watching. My sisters best friend has been sucked into Plexus. I have watched her and supported her as her and her husband have gone through years of IVF to no avail. I’m assuming someone close to her has watched this as well and decided to pitch her Plexus. I noticed her facebook story started with “ask me what I’m doing that changed my life” and has slowly evolved to sharing the sales and what she’s taking and the challenges but also when her plexus check is deposited. I have been in an anti MLM binge since last year and it’s basically an obsession so I was triggered to watch her from the first post. I am just very triggered in anger FOR her because I know someone targeted her infertility and I’m infuriated. I’m just watching from the sidelines for now but I’ll wait for her turn to share something to get her eyes to shift. I feel like right now she’s in the stage of “this will help me” so I’m just biting my tongue. Thank you for sharing something like this.
