It sounded familiar, so I googled it and was correct about it being about selling cutco. I already talked to him about MLM's so he is aware of them and we shredded the mailing. He got another letter 5 days after the 1st one. We both laughed and shredded it. I am angry how fast this "company" preys on young graduates. I really hope the school did not give out addresses. Being in a small town I bet it is not hard to come by this info. I am also educating my 15 yr old daughter about MLM's, so neither of them will become victims of these scams. It’s ridiculous to think fingers don’t have muscles. The tendons in your middle and ring finger are connected, so if you put your hand palm down on the table and bend your middle finger under, you can lift your index finger and pinkie, but your ring finger won’t budge. The nerves of the ring finger and pinkie are intertwined, making those somewhat connected, too.

Like if you get to pick and choose who breaks them how is that fair to other people she may have already turned into victims. Not to mention if she did that so easily and confidently, who's to say she wasn't willing to sell customer information other ways? MC of that story didn't know her, neither did her coworkers obviously. All they knew was she was willing to do that...there's a difference between upholding ethics and safety of customers and wishing ill on someone, she should have lost her job absolutely. Not wishing her harm at all, but she should have to face how big a fuck up that is. People find new jobs all the time, save your sympathy and empathy for the people she likely hurt.

The ring finger thing is taught in esthetics school. But we weren't told there aren't any muscles lmao! just that it's weaker
I suppose it could be argued that Doterra asking if people would falsify results is intended to weed out people who would. It's a bad question either way.

19:24 There are no muscles in any of your fingers! Your fingers are controlled by the tendons in your hands and arms. Pretty cool!

Now that this channel blew up. I bet Doterra wishes they had hired Hannah. 😂

WOW not related but I got the biggest deja vu with this video!! Around 3:47 when you were stating the disclaimer, I even mouthed exactly what you were gonna say. Wild

I wonder if that CVS hun has any idea how lucky she was - HIPAA is no joke and OP could’ve absolutely called for her head.
@heathersue42928 күн бұрын
The CVS pharmacy tech looking up names on Facebook is not a HIPAA violation. It is creepy and possibly violates a CVS policy, but not a HIPAA violation. Names are not considered protected health information (PHI) in and of themselves under HIPAA. If the employee also used treatment or payment information in addition to the name, that would be a HIPAA violation.

I don’t think, in this particular case, reporting the pharmacist would drive her further into the MLM. It would have put her in jail for 10 years per charge. What she did is a felony and she absolutely did know better.

I believe no fingers have muscles, you only have tendons in your fingers, so hon is kind of right about ring finger but the other fingers are equally muscleless

And they said third party testing…. If their scientists do it, that’s not a third party

I mean she was technically correct in saying the ring finger has no muscle, because none of our fingers do. But ring fingers absolutely are attached to muscles in the hand/forearm, unless an abnormality exists.
@mathsalot80993 ай бұрын
That's really interesting! I had to look it up and went down a rabbit hole of hand anatomy and why it's so hard to draw. Maybe that's why AI generated art always gets the hands wrong.

Omgggg 😂😂😂 I'm not a doctor, but I work in the fitness industry (I know a bit about the muscular system) and skincare is a hobby of mine, so I think I know what that MLM lady was trying to say: Obviously the ring finger has muscles in it 😂 But it's the weakest of all our fingers - our other fingers are larger (therefore stronger) except for the pinkie, which is actually significantly stronger than it's size would indicate. So, when our goal is to be as gentle as possible (roughly tugging/pulling at our skin is never great), it's a good idea to use our ring fingers to apply creams, etc. I think that's what she was trying to get at, but because she didn't understand it properly it came out as nonsense...

but none of the fingers have muscles in them. Movement of the fingers is governed by tendond that link to muscles in your underarm and the palm of your hand.

Simple explanation of how this “CPTG” thing works. It’s like them saying “Asbestos free”. Yeah, nobody asked, because it’s not relevant to… anything whatsoever. It’s like selling apples and certifying they are “filler free”. 😂 “Our useless products are top-notch lab-grade, we seertify so!”

The CVS thing was NOT a small thing. She SHOULD have been fired. The fact that they knew who you were talking about shows she had done it before and she should not be allowed to continue violating the law

The ring finger is light to the touch which will good to apply eye creams. That rep said it wrong…lol

Wow, I would’ve reported that CVS immediately. Drive right from the drive through back into the store, directly to the pharmacy manager

So, my day job is in class action, I'm a legal editor. My specialties are in anti-trust & data breach. Data breach for me often involves HIPPA violations and I have special certifications to handle data breach cases with HIPPA information in them. For each person that RX hun contacted using information from her job, she (and her job) can risk $100 to a max of $25k PER PERSON she violated. It is rare for a single person to hit $25k unless they're selling that information, but just imagine how many people the hun did this too, and if she had to pay $100 per person that could add up fast.

I just got a text from my aesthetician. She has “partnered” with Limelife by Alcone. WTH. I am very disappointed.

Did you text back. "I'm very disappointed in you and will be taking my business elsewhere. I do not support mlms. " These people need to see the pushback to understand that what they are doing is wrong.

I think we need to do a better job of educating our children about things that seem too good to be true. Most things that make money, require hard work. There’s no get rich quick scheme that you can rely on. That’s why they’re called schemes. You have to think logically and if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Just get a normal job, get an education, work hard, save money. It’s okay if you’re not rich overnight or you’re not your own boss.

I weirdly just learnt this week that none of your fingers have muscles in them! The muscles are all in the hand and they move your fingers via the attached tendons

As a dude I’m happy that I’m not the target audience for most MLMs
@mellimel11743 ай бұрын
I dislike how Mary Kay usura the term “facial” which denotes a treatment from a licensed esthetician. Instead you rub on their products with your own hands and apply their makeup so they can convince you that you need it.

Re the finger comment: I’m sure someone else has already said this but if so I can’t see it scrolling through, so I have to say it, none of your fingers have muscles in 😊 only tendons which are pulled by muscles in your hand or arm, the ring finger is the weakest the tip itself is solid just the explanation is 🤦♀️

I’m new to hearing about MLMs so I have no idea about them…I do have one question though, my mom has been selling Avon for 30 yrs and she has never once recruited anyone below her, please explain to me how Avon is a MLM because I don’t completely understand how they work? (I’m new to your channel and love your content)
