The fact that she refuses to show any pages of the planner while expecting people to pay $120 for it is just wild. And what little I do see of it is infuriating. For $120, I would expect a hardcover, leather, properly bound book. Not only is it a cheap paper cover with plastic ring that I could have printed myself at home, she couldn't even be bothered to figure out how to rework the pages to have dividers to manage the absolute monstrous size that it is. It's laughable that this woman claims she's any level of business savvy.

As an artist and a planner geek, that planner looks CHEAP. The only thing I can see as expensive from a printing standpoint is the page count. The way it moves makes it look like copy paper (generally a big cost is using heavy weight paper so pens don't bleed). It's black and white, plastic binding, no tabs, a thin cover, all things that lower the production cost. Planners that have additional pages for reflection and such (like passion planner) aren't that thick. The way she doesn't explain anything in the planner, leads me to believe it's all bs. Planner peeps love spilling about what's in their planners - layouts, extras, all the stuff. Everything just feels like a money grab after thought. I would venture to guess everything is bare bones in terms of graphic design elements.

Wait! THAT'S THE PLANNER?! That has a max retail of $35 and that is with a few pages of stickers thrown in. This is the kind of planner you buy at 80% markdown in February just for the accessories. It's too large for people who only use it as a day planner and too bloated for people who like to customize their planners. The PayPal thing is a security measure. If you could take the money out without proof of shipping a product, you could run with the money without giving the person the product. She’s complaining about normal business fees and processes that are usually set in place to protect the customer.

I use PayPal with my business, at first it made me do the tracking number before releasing the money. It has to do with not selling often but also some customers banks will also allow them to hold the money till tracking is put in. 😊

1) as a paper planner girl, no way in hell I’m buying a planner without knowing what’s inside, that’s why shops where I live have samples you can flip through to see if you like the planner or not (but then again I have very specific needs, so maybe this type of planner wouldn’t be good for me anyway) 2) if you have a normal relationship with alcohol, I really don’t know why you would need a different drink to hide that you’re not drinking so that other people don’t say things to you. Just be an adult and tell people you don’t want to drink, you don’t even owe anyone an explanation, it’s not like you’re bothering or hindering anyone else so do what you want. I understand that some people with social anxiety might not want to do that, but I wouldn’t expect this from someone with her kind of attitude who’s always on her high horse judging people for this and that.

As someone who has worked in a printing shop, seeing that planner gave me PTSD. I remember having to put together wire-bound booklets and once they get past a certain width they were IMPOSSIBLE to handle. I don't even wanna KNOW what size the wire spine part is. Whatever shop she went to probably had to get those specially ordered in just for her because they're so absolutely out of the usual wheelhouse of things you'd keep in stock. She's surely making a profit off these, because she can set the price and ensure she IS making a profit, but I don't question the idea that those were expensive to make. Whichever shop made those for her, I hope they got their money's worth for their labour, good lord. Edit because I just went back to look at it again and I feel like that has to be the BIGGEST size of ring they manufacture. And you can even see that it's STRUGGLING to hold all the pages. A good wire bound book doesn't bulge like that from the spine. No wonder the printer said no more god damn pages.

My roommate is a postal worker, and let me tell you, her local post office is going to HATE her for this... Like, not even something to be funny and joke over. The USPS is getting slammed hardcore, and I know in our area they're massively understaffed and can't hire enough people in, no matter how hard they try. It's been brutal on postal workers this December, and the month has barely started! Like, please, please, please, on behalf of postal workers everywhere, don't be this kind of person who jokes about making their postal workers' lives hell. "He's gonna hate me!" Yes, and you freaking deserve it! Don't be so freaking lazy and drive your packages yourself! I don't care if it takes you 20 trips, it's not fair that your postal worker has to figure out how to fit that crap into his truck, and then has to haul all that crap from your porch to his truck, and then from his truck into the office, then someone's got to load all that crap up. I understand it's their job, but when they're dealing with actual businesses that ship regularly, they accommodate and plan for that. When you're just doing this once out of the blue and slamming them with volume like this? Ugh... please don't... Also, 2023 goals, no, I didn't meet them... and let me tell you, I'll get right on ensuring that doesn't happen next year. Because I have total control over losing so much time to recovery from a car accident that my brain is still healing from almost 9 months later. I'm totally going to do things differently to make sure some driver that's too busy messing with her cell phone and arguing with her mom doesn't run a red light and total my car... so much control over that... Sorry about the rant here, but my god... the entitlement and superiority on display here... people like this make me sick.

Exactly, there are so many costs to take into account when running your own business. These MLM huns always never consider such costs, they usually always count sales as their profit, when they are not the same. If they were taught even the basics of sales, profit, costs etc, then run the numbers, they would see straight away that mlms are a con and that they are working for cents per hour, if they are turning a profit at all.

For the shipping (if she is covering the costs herself) should be around $12 average (including the box it ships in). So that's $2,400. In total it's $8,400 in expenses. 200 planers costing $119 each total to $23,800. Her expected profit is around $15,400

I bought my planner for $4.50 and it's fake leather and perfect-bound. It'll do what I need it to do and it actually looks pretty (even if basic) compared to hers. Coil binding is generally the cheaper option so with a planner the size of hers it's no wonder she went with that instead of perfect-bound. (I have a 10 year career in the printing and binding industry plus I'm a college graduate of print productions). It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that though lol. And oh yeah, coiling those giant books are a pain in the ass, generally you have to do it by hand. It sucks.

What! In Belgium 🇧🇪 there are often random police stops, for driver’s license, insurance papers, alcohol tests and even when in doubt the police here have tests for drug use! They could be loosing their drivers license and work too and going to court for driving under influence. And that can be heavy, probation driving restrictions and even having to provide drug tests before getting your drivers license back! And still later it can give problems for specific jobs.

You have to find what works for you some people like apps and others don’t. I’ve always liked to write things down. I buy a cheap calendar at the dollar store as well as a notebook of paper the same size. I make sure they fit in my purse. I have to do lists daily, weekly and monthly. I am pretty ADD so I have write down everything from., Do laundry, pay bills, order groceries, exercise, make doctor or dentist appointments and I mark them out as I do them. I also set alarms on my phone the night before for things needing done the next day. I write a description on each alarm. I have a friend that has a giant desk calendar and she writes everything down that needs done. She now also sets alarms on her phone as reminders. Because I told her it helps me to not forget daily tasks. She tried it and it worked nice for her. My husband likes to use online google calendars. There is no one size fits all way to stay motivated. I don’t see myself carrying a giant text book with me. However I’m sure it may help some. We don’t need to shame or make people think that there is only one way. At the end of the day as long as tasks are completed that’s what’s important.
