Makes me kinda wonder if pony Twilight Sparkle will become a temporary villain in season 8 or 9 in mlp like Sci-Twi became Midnight Sparkle. She has achieved everything but if the foundation is poor, then you can destroy the whole structure of oneself. I in no way hate Twilight! She's actually one of my top 3 of the original Mane 6. But it would be an interesting twist to see if she lost her way and Sunset Shimmer, Starlight Glimmer, and Tempest Shadow (I prefer Tempest over Fizzlepop Berrytwist, she sounds like a gum flavor) had to lead the Mane 5 to fight and attempt to reform a mentally and morally damaged Twilight Sparkle. Just shooting my own thoughts.

First of all, Twilight didn’t like living in her castle which she earned btw, and property isn’t as big of a deal in ponyvill cause of how small the town is. She felt alone in her giant castle and would avoid it for days, it was with the help of her friends that she finally felt comfortable in the castle

Ari Starlight has more natural talent/power than Twilight, Spike said so in the Trixie episode, unicorns are born with different amounts of magic, depending on their talents, Sunburst is the opposite of Starlight and Twilight, he's the smartest, but he can't perform many spells because he doesn't has the power.

Honestly. I think that would have been more of how Starlight saw it before her reformation. Seeing her Princess as conceited and manipulative. But I can't agree with that. Sure, she's not the best ruler and can be too passive, she still sees others as somewhat equals. I think she calls them "my little pony" in much the same way as mothers or adults would to kids. Let's not forget she's over thousands of years old, so to her, they are like kids that follow her.

Or, was she? First of all Celestia rarely is more then just princess of Equestria, who mostly in fact do paperwork. It was people who claim that she was a goddess and end disappointed. But in end it is hard to say how strong she really is, especially if her failures were part of the plan, what considering that everything always end well is quite possible. Also "prophetic dreams" is more then "just". All stories of misreading prophecies are exactly due to fact how OP those are especially if you have exact knowledge. I generally see the clues that may be the case here.

If Princess Celestia is indeed a Good Teacher, she doesn't want someone to always be her student. "Far better that I have a student who understands the meaning of self-sacrifice" If she is a Good Teacher, at one point in time, she wants her student to stop being her student and be independent. Basically someone who only looks out for her own best interests, and not Celestia's or others. That's IF Celestia is a Good Teacher. Neverthless, because Twilight Sparkle likes to do things her way, is unlikely she will ever be a Good Student to Celestia in the first place. Twilight and Celestia only managed to have a good relationship because they currently want the same things. If not, well… Anyway. The issue is that My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is primary distributed in North America, therefore the dialogues and actions in the series officially shouldn't deviate from what are officially accepted. And officially in North America, contrary to what is often told, the will to be independent is oppressed. Self-love, selfishness, and basically a lot of 'self' stuff are NOT promoted, they are instead frowned upon. If you love yourself, that doesn't mean you will not love others. Self-love is actually an important of Jesus' 'love others as you love yourself'. Selfishness, the will to do things 'My Way'. As for Sunset Shimmer. Ironically, what got her into trouble in the first place is probably her lack of self-love.

So having OCD,acting like a psycho in one episode,bursting into flames and rage your nerves on the others at the last drop two times,stealing and becoming the opposite self when on pressure seems perfect to you? Also season 6 finale doesn't seem like a failure on her side? She didn't win that fight the others did. Also If you read the comics too you'll see that in the beginning she really wasn't even close to perfect. She was more like the bullied weirdo with a dragon on her back who didn't even have high grades and who was always late. Even Tara said that as strong as she can be she can also be vulnerable. And she even has her dark sides. (Midnight Sparkle surely is a part of the other Twi too but we haven't seen it yet and, again,the comics ) And as much as I love Sunset she wanted only power in the beginning,didn't work for it like Twilight did and it was her choice to leave after all. None of them is annoying though both are great. But If you want a Mary Sue look at Starlight.

If her backstory would have been that she, or a friend of hers has been bullied or missunderstood because other ponies had a "fancier" cutie mark and viewed themself as superiors would make her actions a lot more justified especially when speaking of equality. If you see a friend moving as a trauma you most have a quite perfect life. Also she isn't even original. She just ripps off Sunset and Twilight and keeps using her op magical abilities they rub in our faces since she came to the show for everyhting.

In the comics there was a bit of backstory into why she ran away. she saw herself with the Element of Magic on her head when she looked into the mirror from the movie but Celestia saw there was more to that vision than what it seemed. there was also a dark impulsiveness that could've corrupted her which it later did. When Celestia told Sunset she wasn't ready to level up into her next round of studying, she got pissed and decided to take matters into her own hooves and waited nearly 4 years in the human world for her time to take revenge on Celestia. it was in the Wal-Mart exclusive EG comic bundled with the movie

You said this is pretty dark for a kids. There is one thing I noticed that when rainbow dash in the episode read it and weep rainbow dash sneaks into the hospital to retrieve the daring do book and in doing so scares the occupant of the bed. I looked at that scene several times and noticed how the pony was having difficulty breathing and was distressed in some way. I have come to the conclusion that with the missing mane he had cancer. Rainbow dash could have startled him so much that it aggravated his condition. On top of that the nurses and the doctor who were the only physicians there ran after RD. They left fuzzy slippers or as I believe him to be golden grape alone without any medical aid. In the next episode hearts and hooves day we see when the cutie mark crusaders point out an older pony. He is speaking at a podium in front of a casket. I will leave the rest up to you. 😦

Steven sacrificed himself and went to homeworld, Steven got captured and almost went to homeworld; the main character is supposed to be relatable, not a Mary sue.

Rarity was based Rulue though. While Celestia was based on Miss Accord. Both the Puyo Puyo gang and the My Little Pony G4 gang used a lot of vector animations for their animation.

Watch the season 4 opening again. It's explicitly said that it's the first Summer Sun Celebration after Nightmare Moon's return, which means the first three seasons take place in the course of one year, not three. This is consistent with the fact that we only see one Nightmare Night, one Hearth's Warming Eve, one Running of the Leaves, one Winter Wrap Up... etc. in the first three seasons.

If it's "My Most Faithful Student", it implied that there could be another student. But "My Faithful Student" only implied the designated student is _faithful_. Personally, it's closer to BOTH Celestia and Cheerile (both voiced by Nicole Oliver) addressing smaller ponies as "My Little Pony"/"My Little Ponies", impressing the image of 'you're smaller' to the addressed pony, or 'faithful' in this case. A 'Jedi Mind Trick', or in this case, a 'Alicorn Mind Trick'. The same goes for "My Faithful Student", to reinforce the notion of "you're my faithful student, don't betray me". The issue is, the political intrigue goes beyond just the stories of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic & Equestria Girls, it goes to the writing staff, editing staff, and distribution staff. And oh yeah, Sunset Shimmer is Twilight Sparkle's real mother. Note that 'Sunset the Hedgehog's story was edited into IDW's 'King Sombra''s story. Just merged Hope and Sombra's into one, and you got the backstory of 'Sunset the Hedgehog', aka 'Venice'. Replace Princess Amore into the Princess Soleanna (aka 'Olga') and Soleanna into Crystal Empire, and basically you got the original concept for Sonic '06. The Crystal Heart of course is a representation of the Solaris unity, the Core ('Sunset') and Shell ('Sombra'). Note in a hidden story, it was revealed in the endgame story that part of Mephiles seeped into the Princess and controlled her. One of the reasons the Princess cares very much about 'Sunset', is because 'Sunset' is secretly her partner. Note their relationship is almost borderline Yuri, ala the Cardcaptor Sakura manga. The Clueless 'Sunset'/Sakura being watched and cared for by the Yandere 'Olga'/Tomoyo. And yeah, when Shadow stepped into the story, it became a Love Triangle. The reason Mephiles killed Shadow in the original concept, it's because he was very jealous of Shadow taking away too much attention from 'Sunset'.

And when Celestia was telling twilight about sunset Shimmer Celestia said another faithful student before you. However when she didn't get want she wanted her heart hardened turning her bitter and left to seek her own path. That little part was voice with regret And to and the icing on the cake why did Celestia give the book to twilight? Celestia knows Sunset and Nightmare moon are her fails. An twilight has failed. All of these talks about Princess Celestia being a Mother Figure toward Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle, but there's no talk about Twilight Velvet and Night Light, who so far in the story are supposed to be Twilight Sparkle's parents. Personally, there're many indications that Sunset Shimmer is Twilight Sparkle's real mother, while T.S.'s real father's form was copied by King Sombra. Her father is NOT Sombra, he just resembled Sombra, or maybe vice versa to be more precise. Both Sunset and Twilight seemed to be around over a thousand years old.

I should comment about this video. So here is what little I have to say is that I never watched equestria girl's I actually can't think of a reason why I won't watch it. So as to what I do know I feel that sunset shimmer is given the bad rap and celestia could have tried to get her back. There may be a reason why she didn't. I will end this with time will tell.
