I'd be surprised if the spending didn't keep going up year on year from here, MLS clubs are now spending pretty big money without going insane (insane is like when a £60m fee is pretty much standard) but yeah with them actually spending a bit now, it'll grow the league quite quickly if they do it smartly, and MLS will potentially have the best league in CONCACAF soon at this rate, I just wish they'd raise the salary cap a bit more, so more of these players could come in

@MLSMoves you'd hope so, there's always the risk that they'll be another Insigne, but really that's just something that happens, sometimes there's the odd dud transfer, but you have to do it regardless every transfer has that "will it work or won't it work" about it, but in fairness most MLS clubs seem to get it right most of the time

dude. whats w the concern about the value of these transfers? using the term "overpay" implies you can "underpay" or that these teams have to pay pittances for talent. mls is making more $ than ever. theyre breaking all time profit records. how much do you expect good players cost? get out these teams' pockets
