I'm 30, 2 weeks off alcohol, cigarettes, heroin and other drugs. I've noticed all this. I woke up 2 weeks ago with a rewired brain. It's like God reprogrammed me to be better. I went cold turkey that day. Not one craving for anything in that list I mentioned! Alcohol almost killed me, put me in hospital 27 times in one year. Not a single family member or "friend" came to see me. Now, my drinking buddies don't wanna know me, I'm cool with that. Those who didn't wanna know me while I was an addict, they all wanna know me now but I don't wanna know them. I just wanna know me now. I'm all I need.

I'm in a similar boat. Gave up alcohol (at the time of this comment it's been 18 months) and I haven't seen a lot of people since. I've been invited to do a few things now and then but I can't exactly do the things I used to do. I'm ok if people want to drink around me, I just go for a Coke. Nowadays I spend most of my time alone but it's given me time to focus on important things like family and being thankful for the things I have. I know that when I have cravings (rare thankfully but it can happen) placebo things help. Like drinking a glass of water or hot cocoa. That way I can go through the motions of drinking without actually drinking. Anyway, keep up the good fight. I love the shirt too! Great choice. Best regards.
