Great video. Got mine back running after watching. I drained all the old, bad gas out too. The gas had gotten bad. I suggest sta-bil fuel additive always in smaller engines. I didn't do that before but am using the fuel stabilizer now.

I did a shot every time he said "go ahead" and woke up beside the mini bike. It still wouldn't start...

It’s because he put the fuel bowl back on wrong. Take the bowl off, rotate it so the drain plug is 45 degrees clock wise from where it is shown in the video. So the dean plug essentially facing the center of the rear tire. The bowl is shaped so the float can travel up and down and upon inspection I realized the bowl needs to be on so the float can operate unobstructed.

What ? CUng? I’m telling you the bowl is on wrong this guy in the video put the carb bowl on incorrectly. You should definitely remove the jet and clean that out

I just got one of these bikes and it's missing some things. The spring and rod on the carb to the governor. The carb gasket is broken Missing a bolt for the air box. So far that's all I can see without knowing what it looked like originally. Are these parts still available?

I have a second hand MM B80. There are a couple of missing springs on the throttle linkage. Can the carb be replaced with a pz19 slide carb and avoid piecing the throttle linkage back together?

When you say keeper I think you mean the main jet. That should also be clean very important. Really any passage should be cleaned and blown out with compressed air. That’s one of the most common issues due to buildup in the small holes.

I have a question, I've done everything you have showed. Gas filter, cleaned the carb, greased the clutch, changed oil & changed the spark plug. The issue I'm having is the engine will start and run great when it's in the start position, but when I switch it to run it will continue to die out. Any ideas?

@@beardedjalapeno5263 I got it running,but it only runs when the choke is on. When I put it on run it dies out. I let the kids ride it like that for a couple of week then I put it up. I'm going to replace the carb with a new one.

What do you do if your pull start is locked and won't let u pull the pull start?

Pull the spark plug and pull a couple times. Might be vapor locked. Oil or gas got on top and doesn't let it u pull. With the spark plug out it should shoot everything out if u pull the starter rope a couple times.

I tried unscrewing the keeper from the carb with a flat head screw driver and it completely disintegrated. Now I've got small chunks of it stuck in that hole. 😐

WOW!!!! It's not a "keeper" its a jet. That's the part you should clean with carburetor cleaner, soak it overnight.. then blow through it with compressed air. that's the part that clogs. If that doesn't work just change it with a whole carb.

This is been a big help since I actually was getting my mini bike out of storage and cleaning it up since everything was pretty bad. The only thing I need is a brand new chain and I have no knowledge on where to get one specifically for this exact bike even though it's technically Motovox brand what is practically the same exact like. Is there any possible way I can order a chain online from you guys since the original chain has a broken link. Please and thank you!

Worst carburetor cleaning video I have ever watched. The keeper is a main jet and has a hole in it that you need to stick a wire through if your carburetor is dirty. Did not even mention the pilot jet which is what you need to clean if your bike won’t stay running at idle without the choke on. If you have a bike that’s been sitting for a while If you follow this guy steps it still will not be running when you finish lol.
