Holly crap!!! This is an incredible display of athletic prowess! My lord, I'd be dead or in the hospital... severely injured if I tried ANYTHING she does in this routine! Her speed, strength and coordination are amazing! No matter what you may think of her (and I like her a lot), you cannot deny that she is a great athlete!

cizia69 She's like a friggin' machine! The speed, fluidity, and technical degree of her judo throws is jaw-dropping. The amount of time, hard work, and dedication it takes for a person to get themselves to this level of fighting proficiency... its quite impressive!!

cizia69 jesus christ i have no idea why anyone would bash rhonda rousey. here is someone who lost her own daddy to suicide and she decided to push herself to become something. i am astounded by her. i never liked cage fightin much, but she is fantastic win or lose. people are jealous as hell of someone's success.

I know it's tough to take your eyes off of her body, but watch her face when she's working. She's smiling at the crowd, but then in an instant her focus snaps to when she's sparring. That level of concentration is just amazing. Read her autobiography. She chastises herself for lapses (eating oatmeal (not ice cream or cake) when she's not supposed to, reacting to injuries that would incapacitate most people, any moment of weakness) that are hourly occurrences for people like me. She also has a level of honor that allows no shortcuts. No matter what you do in life (scientist, teacher, artist or athlete) that work ethic and dedication should be your guide. Just imagine what our species could accomplish!

Very interesting. You see so much more of her speed and technique in this exhibition than in a fight where it's all business. Hugely talented. Arm bar is a winner but she has so much more in her arsenal.

Holm is being sincere and correct saying Ronda deserves full credit and recognition for her efforts developing women's MMA. Unlike the many others before Ronda, the UFC was finally ready to embrace women on a card, which then gave Ronda the benefit of the UFC's full force PR. Good thing Ronda was up for that task. She did great. But, as GSP has said for years, MMA is evolving so fast that no Champ can get comfortable. Great to see Holm win without any sort of controversy. Don't expect to see a different outcome in a rematch. Might be more competitive, but another W for Holm.

AmsterdamHeavy Bethe's still the better striker outside of the clinch; though Ronda's show steady and rapid improvement in all her fights. Ronda's the better athlete & better all-round fighter. The threat of her grappling makes competent strikers timid.

Project862006 Not much a sample size, the fight lasted 16 seconds. I don't think striking disparities will make any difference in this fight. Correira is a pressure volume striker with a reach disadvantage. She will be open for trips/sweeps even if she tags Rousey.

pilsung26 anyone can get hit for sure. Ronda got hit by miesha and Sara so anything is possible. Bethe MIGHT have more power for sure. but I don't really see ronda staying at a distance for too long.

She's like sugar ray... she amped up the woman side of UFC and there'll never be another one... even though she went down in flames the last fight. She changed history for women in UFC - she put em on the map. It needed a bronze medalist, and undefeatable record, and everything that she is.... her work is done.

What did I say! Ronda is the first female that I have seen that strikes the same in a fight as she does in practice when she's hitting the pads. I am not a fan but i can say after seeing her actual striking ability it's seems impossible for any of these girls that I have seen so far to beat her, Meshia might have power but she's slow. Ronda is quick on her feet and fast in the hands with power.

Ronda is DEF on another level. It'll take a newcomer that's been trained in judo for years, with the same set of fighting skills to defeat her. That person is probably only in grade school right now. In the mean time, let's enjoy a once-in-20-years MMA champion fighting at the top of her form.

I'm a MMA and Boxing fan. Anyone who actually believes Mayweather could take Rousey in a fight is deluded. He would have had a hard time when she was just practising Judo. Now she is so grounded in so many fighting arts she quite literally has transcended the women's game. I reckon she would give guys in her weight class a run for their money and that's just speaking the truth.

She should do a female version of the old Billy Jack movies.

Cuivre Yeah. She can repeat the scene where she says, "I'm going to take my right foot and smack the left side of your face and you're not going to be able to do a damned thing about it." I'm paraphrasing but I think you know the scene that I'm alluding to.

Sure! The already had a "G.I. Jane" with Demi Moore. I think Ronda could sell it much easier.

This woman is the greatest female fighter of all time, rock solid technique with an unstoppable ground game plus her striking has improved so much over last 18 months. Yes one day she may get beat but I believe it will be because of a mistake on her part and not that the opponent is better. Plus she is feckin gorgeous :)

Ronda is just so fucking smooth and those god damn throws are insane........i give bethe till 1:45 first round.... thatll give Ronda time to box a bit and show bethe how low her skills really are, then remember what her mom said about not fucking around....hip toss armbar goodnight..............fade away....... Or maybe cat or any other number of girls could of taken offences to some of the things bethe has said about Ronda never having faced a real opponent and give her a happy send off of there own.....

Cyborg has absolutely ZERO chance of beating Rousey! She has no technique and she's a slow fighter. Ronda's technicality is out of this world and she's fast!

Cyborg has no technique? She's a black belt Muay Thai fighter as well as bjj black belt. She's not afraid of Rondas pathetic striking or the arm bar. You seem tight with Ronda. Convince her to stop running from Cyborg.
