Looking back at this after the fight ( I did not see it prior to 193), the 1-1-2 combo that Ronda throws is half the speed of Holly and easily half the power. Even in this open workout, you can see the cardio difference. Very interesting indeed.

She totally changed her game on her feet, I liked seeing her better in the Open Workout session 190, she looked more powerful with the combinations, it's really sad to see that her own coach ruined her, she's a great grappler, she had to continue with her game Judo, he was already good at improvising with his hands to reach the clinch.

Something seems off about her in this workout. She was so much more energized in her open workout in Brazil. I know the weather is a factor but she just looked tired. And then in the fight she had her mouth wide open at the end of the first round. Thought she hurt her jaw or nose but that was not the case. Not taking anything away Holm. She was the least likely to win according to most which reassured me that Holm would take it. Ronda could only get by for so long without progressing her striking more. She was just not herself though, in my opinion. She will come back and God help the chicks who stand in her way

I do agree with that. She just was acting different. She did not act this way with Meisha and she hates her. I think all this movie making and the task of being "the Ronda Rousey" finally caught up with her as well. I have followed Holly since she was in boxing, and I knew with her height and her striking that she would be the type of fighter to beat Ronda. Everyone has their Kryptonite and Holly was Ronda's. Just like Weidman was with Silva. However I still stand by the fact that whoever stands in her way when she comes back, I feel sorry for them.

Seeing how people are reacting to Rouseys loss, I'd hate to see the reaction when/if Jon Jones gets a loss. I've never been impressed with Rousey but people are trying their best to rub the loss in her face. A loss is something every fighter will experience if they fight long enough. Whats the point in rubbing it in? I'm glad Holly isn't playing into that whole thing, and she's the one who beat Rousey.

the stand-up ronda shows here you can see in any amateur boxing club , her hands are not world class level and neither have many of her opponents been ,will be interesting to see how holm approaches this as she knows how to actually throw a combo

Watching her box is painful. Why is her coach explaining every combo before it's to be executed? Do they no train normally? When I was Junior open we had all our combos down to a science on pads. Like coach would say TAT, and I would know a 5-7 combo, or he would say TOT and it was a different combo ect. He would say TOT TAT TICK and I would string 3 combos to a routine. This is like a clown show. No footwork or polish.
