@@NuageRouge123 She believed in her coach, and the coach was the guy creating that hype. He was the one telling everyone she could be a top-level boxer, etc. The guy is a moron. Edmund favored standup fighting, and it wasn't good enough for him to have a champion in his gym. That champion had to be a great boxer, because he knew everyone would just say that she was already great (Olympic judo) when she came into his gym. He wanted people to believe it was his training that made her great. It wasn't.

He then went undefeated until 2014, racking up 32 straight wins and becoming one of the sports top P4P fighters. After he got dismantled twice by TJ, he was never the same. He's gone 2 wins - 8 losses since.

Mike Tyson summarised this phenomena in his book "Undisputed Truth". He said that Cus always taught him that fighting was something he did, not who he was. Which was why Tyson said; that even though he was disappointed to lose the heavyweight championship, he wasn't crushed, and that he knew he would never come back after retirement. Fighters who are never the same after a loss, are the ones who peg their whole identity to fighting and being the best, therefore once they lose a fight, they lose their identity.

Cody Garbrandt could possibly make this list. Was undefeated when he beat Dominick Cruz and became Champion. Then two consecutive losses to TJ EPO Dillasnake. Then a loss to Pedro Munhoz. From undefeated to a 3 fight skid. But he's returning and says he's focused on reclaiming the belt and is still top 10 ranked. We'll see what happens.

@@rippie___ That's for sure. There's some tough competition in the division. Cruz is coming back too. I feel like Cody firing on all cylinders can beat anyone in the division. I'm definitely curious to see how he'll look.
