My parents live with a 2012 Qashqai with the 2.0 liter petrol engine and 6 speed manual gearbox. Yes, interior is no luxury, but actually it was decent 10 years ago and today it is still perfectly functional. Reliability is very strong. They haven't had a single issue with it, except for fast burning light bulbs since the first year. That's it. With this petrol engine it is very sluggish, but not as bad as the 1.6 liter petrol with de 5 speed manual.

We have the same car but the plastic that holds the number board and button to open the trunk is a horrible design. The clips slowly break on this part of plastic ours broke twice already.

@@konstantinfischer8180 ours broke as well and I've seen dozens of other Qashqais with adhesive tape holding that same plastic handle. This kind of boot handle is a very common solution in the industry, but Nissan got it horribly wrong this time. We also had material fatigue in the folding mechanism of the wing mirrors. One day the passenger side mirror just decided to fall off and leave itself hanging from the wires. Other than that, it's been mechanically faultless. Now we are selling it, tho. Time to move on.

The Nissan cube 20012 when I miss the celebration it wants to rev up and cut back the rev up and cut back then you'll have to pull it over on the side of the road put it in park and Crank It Up and it'll go again and until you left acceleration and then it'll cut off and it won't take the gas no more until you cut it off and crank it back up what would be the solution

You see you say that but have you worked on one. They are a total nightmare petrol or Diesel. There is little to no access to the oil filter on the diesels and to check or replace the spark plugs on the petrol the entire inlet manifold has to be removed. To replace a lower wishbone both droplinks must be removed to lift the anti roll bar out the way to get access to the bolts securing the whisbone to the side of the subframe. Now disconnecting droplinks isn't a big deal, but it is if you live in a rust belt and it takes quite a good bit of grinding to get them off. Pollen filter replacement is a pain if it has dual zone climate control because if it does you have to remove the glove box and disconnect a extremely fragile connector that is a pain to disconnect due to how it sits thats right in front of the pollen filter cover to get the filter out. Not fun to work on if you are under time constraints and labour and parts can start to add up for tasks that really should be as time consuming.
