@@ChasExoticCabin You can make background images using a free program like Gimp or Krita (Or use Google Images) and put pngs/jpgs into MMD. For 3D backgrounds you'll need to learn Blender and use the MMD_Blender addon or use Deviantart or Bowlroll to get some free MMD 3D stages/backgrounds.

I have a question I started using MMD and my model is a Lamia so I went to PMXE It shows all my bones on the Tail but when I upload it to MMD the tail moves all over the place have any suggestions?

A lot of reasons I can name cause it depends on the issue. It also depends on your experience with 3D whether the explaination will make sense. I recommend look into bone parenting and physics/rigid bodies/joints as around those areas the answer is there.

I was unable to make a Kinect tutorial because 1. Trying to explain the installation process is too difficult and each computer has their own issues with installing 2. Apple bought Primesense which discontinued the Kinect devices and asset distribution 3. I did a Kinect giveaway so I no longer have my Kinect. I have a new MMD tutorial which highlights the Kinect but you would have to experiment yourself on that: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5jIm3xjpb1_fpo

So with Kinect being outdated, most MMDers just resort to typical VTubing with webcam or iPhone mocap which does face mocap only. Hitogata is a program for MMDers and VTubers but it uses TOO MUCH CPU. Hitogata has stopped updated because Mogg when on an indefinite hiatus but you can use it and export VMD to get face mocap. As for body, you can try using ThreeDPose webcam body tracking but you NEED a proper environment and lighting for it and some Blender knowledge to convert the BVH data from ThreeDPose to VMD using MMD_Blender addon. So yeah, do some research and if you can, SAVE UP MONEY for BETTER mocap devices.

how does the frame system work???? in the context of how many frames per seconds?? if i put a keyframe at frame 30 is it 1 sec or is one frame one seconds?????? please help ive been searching for the answer for like an hour in need this information

Watch these tutorials, and it will help you understand 3D animation: kzbin.info/www/bejne/imndmp-fjqp_g7c kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKGwo5iCmrt3bNE Basically, there is no "fixed" fps. There are 24, 30, and 60 fps, for example. The frames per second affect the smoothness of the animation, and 24 fps is easier to animate with, but 60 can give a smoother look but slightly harder to animate. Make sure to research about 3D that is beyond MMD to really understand 3D in depth.

MMD uses only 30 frames per second for keyframing (constant value). So if you want to set keyframes more often - there is no way: keyframe it on 30 fps and speed up rendered video. For rendering it varies.

hi, when i select any bones (execpt the one u showed in the vid), mmd doesnt let me press the move button, do u know why???? how can i fix it?????

That is probably because in PMX Editor the bones were made to NOT move but CAN rotate only. So if you select an arm, you can ONLY rotate them instead of moving (Moving can cause weird stretching with limbs, moving is more for the groove and mother bones).

Use your external mouse. The Middle mouse button (Scroll wheel) actually clicks and scrolls so use your middle mouse to click and move around. -Right mouse clicker rotates -Middle mouse (Scrollwheel) pans around (Must click or push your index finger on the button) -Left mouse clicker is for selecting buttons
