MMDA Novaliches Clearing

The MMDA operate in Barangay Sta. Lucia, Novaliches, Quezon City.
What do you think about these kind of operations? Are they fair? Do you see or feel the potential benefits?
They cleared sidewalks of obstructions like extended gates, garages, walls and even statues.
Some property owners chose to take a P1000 ticket for their obstruction and promised to self-demolish. The Barangay took note of all obstructions and agreed they would be the ones to clear them if the property owners didn't live up to their promise.
The MMDA also apprehend those driving without helmets, without seatbelt and other violations.

Good day & greetings to you gadget man, I’m so impressed that you did have some time to share with us the novaliches area, that was from TS Cruz subdivision along General Luis. However it will be glad if you can convince the MMDA to pass along Susano street from bayan to deparo junction all the way to Zabarte & Camarin, mostly all pathway in both sides are occupied by squatters. In Susano proper, all vendors are occupied plus tricycles are parking in side road most of them are unregistered, passenger jeepney is park on footpath waiting for passenger blocking the pedestrian. I’m gonna thank you & owning you a lot if you gonna walk over there & take a shot, show it in social media & MMDA, thanks a lot my friend, take care & god bless to you

I see sooooo many local , Over fed “ traffic enforcers “ whose job it is appears to be leaning against walls blithely watching bad drivers . Then you have MMDA TFSO , most of whom I recently discovered are not full time benefited employees. Yet they day in , day out work very hard , physically, emotionally, mentally stressful jobs. It’s a shame. They should be full time benefited employees with better pay. The same people complaining of bad traffic then act out when they are found in violation of the law. In Marikina if you construct something in the sidewalk, LGU will file a case against you. Sidewalks in Marikina was cleared by the LGU and not by MMDA. Hopefully, LGUs will do their job and not depend on MMDA.

Glad they are cracking down. You don’t know how heartbreaking it is when you see a child without a helmet and irresponsible father get into an accident. Resulting in the child’s death from head trauma. It’s terribly heartbreaking cause it could’ve easily been prevented.

I think it is the neglegence of the municipal govt for these structures to occupy the sidewalks. They should also inspect the progress of construction to see to it that they follow the city codes and standards. Now, I suggest that even in our barangay level, officials should know all necessary laws, rules, directives, etcc..necessary in maintening peace and order, and in protecting the rights of the commin people.
