Hello, so if i understand correctly and I have BOSE sound system i need to bypass amplifier before update installation? If so, after update i simply remove loop and reconnect amplifier and everything should be fine yes?

Zakupilem przejsciowke(kabel) do AMI na usb, podpiety pendrive muzyka mp3 chodzi swietnie lecz probuje wrzucic teledyski, formatuje pliki do formatu dla MMI2G (480X240 MP4) niestety nie ma obrazu jest tylko dzwiek ale strasznie tnie. Co jest problemem czy potrzebuje jakies dodatkowe urzadzenie lub aktualizacje ?

Cześć, o co chodzi z tym światłowodem przy systemie Bose? Gdzieś trzeba zrobić mostek?

Cześć, w MMI 2G oraz MMI 3G przy robieniu aktualizacji oprogramowania należy pominąć BOSE inaczej może przestać działać. W przypadku MMI 2G trzeba użyć pętli światłowodowej np takiej: eparts4you.pl/environment/cache/images/500_500_productGfx_4b21aa07ae42242f4eee238c5a09016f.jpg zlokalizować wzmacniacz bose i wypiąć z niego światłowód i wpiąć w taką pętlę. W przypadku MMI 3G można to zrobić przez włączenie opcji User Defined w zielonym menu i odznaczenie bose do aktualizacji.

Firmware update will not enable Bluetooth music streaming if you ask about this. You'll need external module like this upgrademyaudi.net/product/stream-music-via-bluetooth-aux-interface-for-audi-mmi-2g-3g/

Great video..I have a question please.. my car version is SW: C6-HU 28.3.0 0612. Can it be upgraded to the 5570 ? Or not? Because Audi dealer said my car will never play MP3 and I would like to prove them wrong

they are actually right.. MMI 2G High might need a CD changer with MP3 support - not sure it if was in Audi D3.. but there's newest firmware update available for your car: upgrademyaudi.net/product/h2_hi_eu_k942-5570-latest-firmware-for-mmi-2g-high/ in other way can connect module which can enable bluetooth music streaming feature: upgrademyaudi.net/product/stream-music-via-bluetooth-aux-interface-for-audi-mmi-2g-3g/

@@Carsienet thank you for your reply, so if the CD didn't work, what you think about replacing my old MMI control unit with a more modern one from the facelift 2009 or 2010 still 2G MMI but a modern release...I guess that should solve it..or not?

there wasnt different mmi 2g unit in 2009/2010.. there was MMI 3G High in 2009/10 which is much better than 2g but it might costs quite a lot of to retrofit as need to change many modules.. if you want to keep your car forever i think it's worth to do.. or install one of them extensions: upgrademyaudi.net/product/apple-carplay-android-auto-module-for-mmi-2g-high-audi-a4-a5-s5-a6-s6-q7-a8-s8/ upgrademyaudi.net/product/stream-music-via-bluetooth-aux-interface-for-audi-mmi-2g-3g/
