@@antonioruano971 you have a spécial kit with an optical device Which you need to plug in your cd reader. And then you have to connect it to a “+” after contact to give power to it

Any videos of the tools you need? Think it would be better with talking over it, no music and slower instead of sped up + the tools/bolts etc with them on the video

If not ill be removing it for a Bluetooth dongle 😞

Just did my 2008 S5 with ami in glovebox, works well (a few niggles but thats more me than the kit). Install, once you figure out how to remove the glovebox, is easy and takes about an hour. Removing the glovebox takes about 3 hours if you dont realise theres a screw behind the ami which isnt mentioned in the install guide or video.

Hi on your video it shows you connecting the blue mmi wire to the green on the quad lock. In the paper guide you’ve sent it’s pictured attached to the white wire. Can you clarify which wire? Plus there is a green wire and a green/purple wire and I can’t make out which it is in video.

Managed it once but now its back in (and the screw behind it isnt back in) I cant get it back out and I want to route the usb and aux cables through it to make a cleaner install...

I've managed to get everything working other than the controls - connecting my phone brought up the menu and I was able to pair everything successfully, but can't navigate the interface at all. I'm assuming that I've not made the connection correctly.
