Hi Emma ! This lesson was very intense ! Not easy to remember when you must use look in on, or look after, or look out for... I answered right only at 4 items , in the quiz. So, now, there are my four sentences : 1 - When i went abroad last year, my husband looked after my cats. 2 - When i was twelve, i had a friend who looked down on the younger girls at school. 3 - At the moment, i'm looking forward to the USA elections resuts. 4 - My friend Claudie is so beautiful and talentuous ! i look up to her. Thanks, Emma. Have nice days in your new home !

When I had passed to the next class and left my cousin in the previous class, my uncle thought I will look down on my cousin. But I support him by saying that failures are part of our lives.

Hello Emma. Thank you for these helpful videos. During the school holidays, I look after my four grandsons. I really enjoy that because we look for board games in their wardrobes to play together. They live on the other side of the country and when I go to look after them, I look in on my old friends who are living there. Now I'm looking forward to the world to become normal after the virus gets out.

Me and my friends are looking forward to our teacher's birthday celebration, this weekend. It looks like we are almost done with the arrangements but we are still looking up for some decoration ideas. I , personally , really look up to our teacher as she keeps looking out for all of us. Emma this is a great lesson! I have some questions about the quiz, though: - Could we have used the verb "looking into" in the second sentence? --> We spent hours looking into her record collection. - In the same way, could we have used "look over it" instead of "look into it"? ---> I can't get my laptop to connect to the projector, can you look into it for me? - Finally, in the fifth question, I thought "look after" was the correct choice. Is there any reason why "look out for" is a better option? --> My friend Sarah doesn't have a family living nearby so I always look after her. Thank you so much for these videos, they are so helpful and enjoyable!

Emma, your lessons are really really useful, thanks a lot! It looks like it´s going to be a sunny day. It looks as though he´s been crying. It looks as if my mother is not going to make dinner today. I look definitely more like my mom than my dad. My nephew and his father look alike. My boyfriend´s cousin looks like the journalist I always watch on TV every morning. I couldn´t finish the annual report yesterday so my boss gave me an angry look as soon as I arrived at work. I try to look back on the mistakes I made in the past to do not repeat them again. My mother needs to be looked after by her sister because she is sick. People tend to look down on those who smoke cigarettes nowadays. Usually, I waste valuable time looking for my keys on Monday mornings. I am looking forward to traveling to Amman as soon as possible. I should look around the swimming pool and check everything is clean before my friends arrive this afternoon. Look out! Your dog is about to break my son´s toy. My grandma was always looking out for me when I was a child. I stopped at my grandfather's house last weekend to look in on him and make sure he is taken his medicine. I´m looking up a good receipt to make a chocolate cake on youtube. Now that I feel better things are looking up. I look up to Michell Obama. I think she is really a smart person. My secretary booked the hotel last week, but I haven´t received confirmation yet. Could you look into it and report back later? Could you please look over the results of the analysis and give me your opinion? I spent hours looking through possible solutions to this problem but I couldn´t find the right one. When I have doubts about a desition I look to my sister for advice. Since she was fired, she lost her good looks.
