MN Model D90 and WPL maintenance time!

The chassis and body mix-match actually looks better than the stock D90, because the tires fit under the wheel wells and aren’t so monster truckish. As far as I know, you’re the only KZbinr doing this sort of customizing. Kudos.

RunThatRC I have problems whit my tamiya Land Rover Defender 90 when I have made My first video...I have run it whidouth diff block and run very bad no traction at all ... I have block last night on the back but need all of them...I have lost some parts on the video :) check my video from my page and tell if you see something that I need to upgrade. Does the MN99s have bearings in the axel or just plastic bushings?

bushings but can be upgraded with bearings and metal gears.

Hi, is there a way to remove the plastic drive shafts so you can fully open gearbox to service and replace parts, are the drive shafts glued on as I could not remove mine.

Unfortunately they are pressed on. You can pry them off but risk breaking them or making them loose so they spin on the shaft easily after reinstalling. You can glue them back on or swap to the metal driveshafts which I would recommend.

@@RunThatRC is the metal spindle not splined to stop shaft spinning?. Also can I fit the metal drive shafts to the stock gear box?. Will they fit onto that spindle?.

It is splined but the plastic hollows out and doesn't go back on secure enough. You can grind down the splines and make a flat spot for the grub screw and the wpl cvds will fit on there.

My c 24-1 started making a squeaky noise sounds like it's coming from the motor or rear drive shaft idk. Any ideas?

thats gonna be hard to give advise without actually having the rc in hand to inspect. It really can be any number of issues causing the noise.

@@RunThatRC it ended up being the screw that holds the rear drive shaft hitting the bottom of the motor making a squeaky sound every time it rotates. It just went away after i broke her in more I guess 😅

Is yours a RTR or kit version? There could be a lot of things going on. If you could describe what happened before it stopped working it might help in leading you the right way for what to look for.
