This time, I installed new and better shocks on the MN82, and they work great. The 3D-printed trailing arms, not so much.

Try using metal 4 link with balljoints ...or putting some ball joints at the ends of your trailing arms 🤔

​Hi, i just bought my new MN82 with included metal driveshaft but unfortunately it doesn't fit in the stock plastic axle 😢, how did you fit the metal driveshaft in those axles and motor? Thank you❤

MN Model makes two different axels, where the input shaft is a different diameter. Looks like the vendor that sold you the bundle did not include the correct drive shaft. This kit includes the adapters to make it work with either axel type. amzn.to/3DrAhgl

I was unable to get it to twist with the 3D printed arms. I am working on replacing the arms with threaded rods and ends. but I need to design some mounts first. Stay tuned.

Yes, you can use the 53mm shocks with the leaf springs.

I am looking in to that for my MN99s. On the 82 it would be a bit more difficult as I would need to build something that supports the frame after removing the bed. It’s can be done, and will add that to the list. My list keeps growing so I don’t know when, but stay tuned.

They really are not worth it. They don't flex. They only provide up and down motion or both wheels. Stay tuned, I am getting ready to build a set that will work.

I don't know where you can purchase the arms. But, I would suggest not using these. They work well for up and down but they do not allow the axel to flex, one side up the other side down. I have a plan for that but I am still planning that video. Stay Tuned

If it works I will offer the 3d parts for sale. I don’t want to offer something that is not great. The shocks on the other had are great. And they work with the leaf springs.

I just ordered mine the New MN82s Supertourer you should check its new release*, I think if im gonna upgrade. Im good upgrading its drive shaft and the joint/links and wheelset and yea shock also**, Anyway thanks for the video ☝️

I just looked at those online. They look very cool! I am interested to know how the extra weight changes the handling. I find the MN-82 has a very good balance and not too top heavy like the MN-128 is.

@bella0167 I honestly think a whole replacement of the rear shock absorbing system(leaf springs) with a totally different system(trailing arms)could be considered a small upgrade , especially as he designed it himself which I applaud him for.
