0:54 now this is the part I remember from this theme!! Nice anime with Rin from 90s to 2000s but sad for Kouki... The singing was beautiful and thought-provoking with the exotic and traditional instruments... The yearnful opera-ish voice also reminded me of Terror in Resonance's OST!

I just realize the first 5 seconds music 🎶 is when Rin Asogi dies but her immortality kicks in and self-ressurected its that small scene where Rin is having a minor dreams of stars 🌟 once her immortality start healing her she basically wakes up.

The anime got me obsessed with because its one of those anime that features an immortal character and having the subject immortality as its center plot-point. What made this anime very good in terms of its story and message was the fact that they wanted to make a story about "life and memories" which is why the anime is called "Rin daughter of mnemosyne" mnemosyne is the Greek goddess of memories. Sadly tho this anime gain its reputation for being torture porn because of the extreme depiction of BDSM and its clear that this anime was sorta pro-BDSM show.
