in 1991 the GTi-R ran 13.5 standard. in 2011 (20 years later) the Evo X runs a 13.4 so if you have to spend heaps of cash to beat a stock evo you shouldnt be driving a gtir... or anything turbo for that matter. also bring into account that the gtir is manual and loses boost between gears. the evo x has auto, therefore no lift on gear change and no pressure loss...
