That is one bad ass ride the best engine built Nissan made for those year's,I like to say I have the same engine in my 200sx se front wheel drive,the car was a ga1.6 ,I stripped the car down and change everything,seance then kicking some Mustang,Honda,and F150's, I don't look for these guys but they show up at a street light and they always try me! I'm just happy the way the car turn out,also the car was built at home.

@linn1000 its called launch control, limits and holds the revs at a certain rpm so when you take off its straight into turbo instead of waiting for it to spool :)

brendadan is a nissan sunny gti with gtir engine and in that vid is 535hp with garett gt3076 at 1.9bar.......now the car is 710hp at 2 bar with garrett gt3540 and its front wheel drive and powered by gtr racing tuning in greece

@Swattech45 It 'sounds' like an RB26 highly tuned, but it definitely isn't. Check the engine bay at 0:15 and it's definitely a 4 cylinder engine. 500ps is great power from a 4 pot though!

@grill1234 It is awd can't you see/hear it trying to get traction even with the spin? If that was fwd there would be way more rev limiter and a lot less acceleration. The cars based off a fwd platform so I'm assuming the transfer case is set to deliver more power to the front wheels probably like a 60/40 setup so that might be why it appears that he is only spinning the front.

@Broncofivepointslow No i can´t see or hear. The engine revs in a way that a 4-wheel drive would never do. It´s even more obvious when he´s floors it while rolling - spins the front wheels like any other 300-500 hp car would do. If we were on the same continent i would have put up a bet! 500$, on that car is FWD.

bruce s maybe in your country you don't now how to built and tune an SR.......this car was over 500whp and here in Greece we have Gtir s and SR engines over 1000hp by GTR racing tuning.......if you search you will find vids ans informations.......we also have the world record from a Gtir at 0-400 .......8.8 exelixis motosport Gtir in Romania and 9.6 from a street legal Gtir in Greece.....both cars powered by GTR racing tuning in Greece!!

That's a GTI converted. I'm not even sure it's 4wd. Probably fwd with an lsd. The front wheels are leaving big black lines, my Gtir doesn't do that. At 39secs those don't look like driven back wheels or they'd be spinning too. The biggest give away is the radio aerial is in the wrong position for a Gtir.

My friend got a sentra and wants to put that same GTR badge on it but its only because its his winter car because he actually owns a Nissan Skyline GT-R ... mayby its the same for the other guy in your neighborhood... this isnt a real GTI-R, it looks he have swapped the sr20 engine, and the bodykit from a GTI, but it is certainly not a real one, the real one looks more agressive, and i know the real sunny/ pulsar GTI-R are very rare, and very hard to find, this one is deffinitly fake!
