Moananuiākea | 2024 Sail Plan Update

Polynesian Voyaging Society CEO and Pwo Navigator Nainoa Thompson provides an update on changes to the sail plan for 2024. Hōkūleʻa's time spent at home will be used to forward succession leadership and provide valuable training sails between Hawaiʻi and the intertropical convergence zone. The year will also include the Festival of Pacific Arts and Culture and a statewide sail around Hawaiʻi.
