Moasure One Full Unboxing and App Setup

Hey, it’s Jon Machinski with Cavalry Fence. I’ve used Moasure as my daily driver for 2 years. The battery typically lasts me in the truck for about 3 weeks between charges

Ordered one for myself (just personal use) for landscaping projects including regrading, sprinkler system expansion and some concrete curbing. Having the stick with it is basically a necessity; I can’t see myself using it if I had to reach down to put it on the ground for each move (plus you really don’t have time between measurements to reach down to do it). I’ve been pretty impressed with it- it is super accurate and (once you get used to what it expects) it is easy to use. I’ve used their export to SketchUp functionality on a couple projects and that turned out to be really useful. I would imagine for measuring for fence estimates this would be a huge time saver!

Hey Joe, was wondering what you thought now that youve had this a little while, do you find it useful for the fence industry? Im askjng cause the new moasure 2 pro is almost $1000.00 Im a small company and dont wanna waste $ on useless products.

We couldn’t seem to get it to consistently reproduce standard measurements. Not enough to trust it in the field without re-measuring with another method, which defeats the purpose.
