If they aren't hurting anyone, nobody needs to know who is who. This is such an out the gate conversation, where the claim is always the reverse of reality. Why do they need patches if not to intimidate other people just going about their daily lives? Won't having no patches also stop unnecessary random inter-gang violence because they'll just look like any other people now? What is the honest point of wearing a patch?

Throwing someone into jail for wearing a gang patch sounds outrageous to me. Gang patches are already banned from some public places, such as hospitals and banks.

Banning patches is such a waste of government resource and tax payer money, what a flop lol

NO TO COPS WEARING GUNS. It leads to escalation. If cops start wearing guns more criminals will start carrying guns which will result in more innocent un-alive both by criminals & cops. I have no issue with cops having guns locked in their cars as it gives them time to think before resorting to using it.

If there is any escalation, it will be due to the behaviour of criminals who have no right to escalate anything.

Thankyou police ❤ Lots of news articles of victims. I'm sorry to say but a gang member threatened to punch my 7yo and me in the face at school.

I’m starting to think the governments terrorising gangs and their families not the gangs terrorising the public or the government . I think we should just do a public meet with the gangs where it kinda civilises the whole gang stigma where the public can ask questions and also the gangs can ask the public questions without arguing or violence but maybe not without a burnout or 2 and a major community Kai 🙏; I think a lot of people don’t understand how brothers got to the stage of gang initiation and I don’t think they will want to put themselves in the position to find out . I see a lot of wasted talent where the government could actually be funding a lot of these young legends into xtreme sports , competitive and trial events but instead tax payer money goes on luxtons hotel and escort tab 😂. Chur the brothers stay hearty and on form don’t let there bullshit laws whuk with us. If we can help people more then the government do and even help people we don’t like then we will be doing what the government could never achieve (e.g mowing mums lawn , picking up rubbish round the streets , acknowledging elders , feeding kids or homeless) maybe we can become the government, it sounds like a long shot but if we show nothing but strength and honour even to our enemies while all our cups are empty we will prove to ourselves and people that we are better off making things work together rather then a spokesmen who has no relations to the people of Aotearoa .
