One last thing .. the creator ONE has said that he always knew he was going to end the series with Mob laughing. He said that he was honestly surprised that when it was eventually time to do it he found it easy to draw and that it looked and felt soo natural 🥺 🥺🥺
@TrianaNero

Funnily enough, Secchan, Mob's seiyuu, actually found the final scene with Mob's laughter difficult to record - during the cinema premiere of the episode he mentioned how laughter is not his strongest suit. Ritsu's seiyuu actually stayed behind with him to give him pointers and help with the recording! :")

One thing that adds more flavor to the Reigen chasing Mob scene. In Japan culture, when a samurai throw away his scabbard, it means that he have no intention to ever sheathe his sword again, which means that he is ready to die. In modern culture, japanese changed this action to throwing away the shoes. So when Reigen threw his shoes away, he was giving up his life. He was ready to reach Mob at any cost.

the fuck are you talking about, that is not what ONE wanted to convey trought this scene at all LOL While the scabbard part is somehow right, not entirely, in modern japan society, the action of throwing his shoes away has nothing to do with that. I mean, it fine if you find meaning in that action, but don't jut feed people staight made up lie like that. Its not even a japanese cultural thing, when you run barefoot, you typicaly tend to run faster. The end. Its not a metaphore, its a straight up fact that is seen in a lot of japanese media. Not a goddamn way to say 'im prepared to die for this'.

The fact that they ended on Reigen's birthday party is a chef's kiss. It's 10x more emotional than if it were Mob's birthday party. Reigen being the goat and Mob having his best days of his life, can't be any better.

I think ONE basically said that the main idea behind Mob Psycho was that he wanted to write a story about people being kind to one another, especially someone being kind to themself (mob). A very sweet show and a great ending.

I really like the message behind this show. Mob started off subdued and had no confidence. He worked on his body, made friends, met tons of people, helped people got outside of his comfort zone and transformed himself. He didn’t sit wallowing in self pity. He didn’t get the girl in the end and was sad, but he wasn’t butthurt about it or mad at Tsubomi about it, he just kept trucking on and being himself. Great show.

Of all the reactions I’ve seen of this show, you girls are some of the only people who’ve really gotten the message of the series. I’m so glad you enjoyed it so much. It’s my favourite series because of how simple and kind it is. Not everything has to be this big, grand adventure with heaps of suffering to be enjoyable and, honestly, life-changing.

FINALLY!!! The reaction we’ve all been waiting for ❤ This was one of my favorite watch throughs ever. Just like you two, I had always heard about Mob Psycho but never placed it high on my watchlist - and it was only after you started that I was finally inspired to watch as well! It’s been such a beautiful series, and you two nailed all the themes and character moments in this show. Sending lots of love, thank you for this series!! P.s. I love that other than the birthday party, Milena’s hardest sobbing was seeing Mob with the body improvement club. For whatever reason, they truly stand out to me as some of my favorite supporting characters in any series. I’m lucky enough to have a couple friends like that, and it is just really special to have people that lift you up and support you always.

i'm so glad you two watched this, loved it and truly understood the core and themes of the show. love that you mentioned that interview with ONE saying he wanted to create something kind. he really achieved that. also i'll forever appreciate this show as well for having tsubomi reject mob and showing that sometimes you will have romantic feelings for someone and it won't be reciprocated and it hurts and it's sad but you can accept it and be okay and maybe you and that person can still develop a relationship outside of romance. also ik it probably won't win polls especially against the bigger shonen shows but i hope one day you two will get a chance to watch fruits baskets, it's a more emotionally taxing show than mob lol but in terms of themes of empathy and kindness they're one in the same (also, would love to watch you two just watch a romance anime in general tbh!). also i echo your thoughts on death note lol but i do think it was at least helpful that you two watched it cause now you kind of know the kind of anime that's in your wheelhouse and what you're looking for so in that sense it wasn't a complete waste of time.

I really want you two to react to a seinen show (not because I don't like shonen - Anime made specifically for teenagers, all of the anime you've watched till now are shonen, except for Vinland), I just want you to explore more demographics in anime. Seinen anime is specifically made for adults and the Vinland Saga that you're watching right now is one of them. I want you to react to "Monster", it's my favorite seinen anime. I love the emotions you put in your reactions. Even if many people call you crybabies and all, I think that's the soul of your reactions. Honestly, never change the way you react to shows. This is my favorite reaction channel.

Hi, I come from Taiwan , mob is a collection of my two favorites, so happy you love mob too. I'm not sure if you guys will see this comment, but I also want to recommend another one of my favorite episodes, Ping Pong the Animation(2014). It's art style may not be so mainstream that it's unpopular, it's about youth, talent, hard work, and almost perfect transitions and impressive soundtrack by Kensuke Ushio. And it's only 11 episodes, very easy to watch and complete . It's like a mob, it makes me feel healing, joy, and the meaning of being human. If you choose this one, I think you will like it. Also recommend it to everyone who sees this message.

I'm just throwing this recommendation out there one more time for now. Golden Kamuy is very much similar to FMAB. It has adventure, humor, heart, fun characters, real history and culture, and the tone can be serious, but at times it also goes very light hearted. It's exactly for you, because of the fun and lovable cast. Basically it's a treasure hunt show, set in the early 1900's. I understand exactly what kind of show you are looking for, and this is it.

Also probably not going to be seen and I’ve already commented on a previous video but I definitely recommend “Dorohedoro” (Not Dororo). The world the characters inhabit is very dark and pretty hopeless but it never stops the characters from having fun and fucking around. Every character you meet is easily likeable and there’s not really a big bad. It’s very violent and has some serious themes but it’s never not goofy. The storytelling has a major “don’t worry about it” vibe so it’s easy to just get lost in the world. Not sure if it’ll ever get a second season but it’s really a fantastic story with world building that rivals one piece but is much shorter.

I am so glad you guys watched Mob Psycho all the way through. If you have time, I hope you will read the story Mob Goes Out of Control in the manga as well. There are a lot of great lines that were in the original manga and were cut from the anime.

Love the reaction it was pure and and real, my only problem ever is when L&M finish a video and then take a whole 30 minute break like I get a couple minutes at best but we want ur immediate reaction and thoughts or to cry with you even. To just edit cut to 30 mins later it’s just it’s a reaction channel not a rehearsed response thing. I love this channel just feels. More real when they talk thru the tears

Thanks for the great reaction! There is still a comic with Reigen as the main character and a comic drawn by the author on Twitter. I hope it becomes an anime someday🙏
