FYI, If you have an iPhone, I find that it works better to tap with the top of your iPhone, rather than the back of your iPhone. It hasn’t failed me once to tap with the top, but failed me many times tapping with the back.

I still have my paper ticket collection. Glad I still do as we transition from paper tickets to the new clipper card and mobile pay system. My collection is now a very important part of BART history.

I might have to try that. I go to SF a lot for vacation, and it's a pain in the ass trying to get on BART at the airport because half the ticket machines are busted, and the other half won't give back the proper change. This way, I can have all my BART and MUNI fares in one place.
