I think the decline of mobile games has to do with the fact that developers are now more focused on making a boatload of money rather than actually making a good game. Like most of those games you mentioned that were classics had heart and creativity behind them

Mobile games always were crap, there were always plenty of gems. I used to be a mobile gamer alot, until I moved into a boring area and used games for entertainment, then I became a PC gamer. I still play PC games today, but not heavily, I play minecraft java for about an hour or 2 before I sleep in the time between when I lay down for work and when I am actually ready to sleep

When I was 7, I was a huge fan of Angry Birds. In fact, I even got a Star Wars pig shirt and a long sleeved blue dirt with Red on it. The best one to me is the plushies. I got a green pig plushie when it was Christmas (which is the only one I kept to this day) and later got some other bird plushies from Goodwill. Life was good.

I remember playing Star Wars Commander when I was 9 years old. Holy crap, that game made me a tactical genius. Now I play Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes, please don't play it unless you have 30k dollars to spare or infinite pacience. Mobile games enjoyed a brief but vibrant golden era back then. I remember one I was obsessed with was a tanks game called iShoot, and my friends at music school used to play it with me all the time. I was also really into Jelly Car and Defend Your Castle, and there were about half a dozen different stickman games I played a lot where you had to build an army and upgrade your guys to fight other stickmen.
