My hubby and I lost everything in 2019 because of an unscrupulous businessman. We lived in an RV until moving to Idaho about 2 years ago when we moved into a doublewide in a trailer park. This home had been lived in by destructive people and we have our work set out for us. There was no flooring, the windows are all cracked and the roof needs to be replaced. We had a hooker hole in the living room and knife slashes all over the doors and windows. I'm 70 and loving my new home and the possibi5it has given to us. Your place is lovely, like your attitude!!!! Bless you sweet girl!!!! Blessings abound when we look!!!!

Nice home update. I prefer the color printed curtains in the center instead of the blue. The contrast looks too dark together. Love the garden update.

Thank you! Yes, it is definitely a lot darker with the blue panel added. I like how the light slightly filters through, but it would be pretty to have a contrasting color added! The garden is a work in progress. I have one more fence from the dump, to add to the yard. Have a great day!

Loved this video!! "Coffee Grounds" ☺️ We made our own little compost mix. You can use egg shells, coffee grounds, fruit peelings, weeds or leaves, vegetable feelings any food matter that you don't eat..and soil mix it up in a pile and let the earth worms go to work! We kept ours in a small vegetable garden, on the end where there was nothing planted. Take a rake, or shovel and mix away. Also any perishable foods that you can't eat, fruit, tomato, lettuce..etc you can add to the pile and let it grow , mix it, after its rotted through use it!! Just keep mixing and layering. Some even use tea bags.☺️ its cheaper to make your own biodegradable compost for plants than buying it! Anything that worms can feed on! We usually broke our egg shells up smaller pieces for compost! You can even add bread crumbs, etc..mix compost with soil. The rich compost helps fertilize the soil.💗 Giving me some great ideas!! I like solar lights. Especially if you have to travel in and out at night or just add light. Pretty accents. We were under A tornado watch yesterday evening and night. We have no storm shelter. Nor basement. Kindly odd West Virginia can't fight of tornadoes because we are mountains!!🌄 So thank the Good Lord we made it through. Other people have basements... If I had one I'd open it up for everyone during the storm if I had the room. We also live in a mobile home. They told people on the news to leave there trailors. We had no where else to go. Anyway... I hope you stay safe. Have a good weekend!! God Bless You!! And personally I liked the green cloth on the table! I love earth tones. Until the next video!!☺️☺️☺️
@CareFreeLivingChannel6 ай бұрын
Wow! I'm glad you are safe! I know what you mean about having to leave the trailer when the weather is dangerous. When ya gotta go, ya gotta go! Thank you for the info on how to compost, that's good stuff. I will see what I can do. The yard is full of earth worms! I like the green color but would like to use it differently, maybe on the sofa. I think it was competing with my Jesus picture!
@Ms.LisaDawn6 ай бұрын
I thought it matched well with Jesus's picture. 🌼 I'm sure you can use it beautifully on the sofa or anywhere you decide. We didn't leave yesterday. We had no where else to go. My area doesn't have storm shelters. There have been tornadoes and hurricane Hugo come through. We ride them out. Putting our faith in the Lord.

The Jesus print is a vintage piece, I've not seen many. The colors are perfect, it's a nighttime setting with the moon peeking through! When it storms bad here, folks go to the grocery store or library. Putting faith in God is always a good thing! Have a wonderful day!

Might be easier if you just set the pod aside for the coffee to dry then it might just pour out. Worms love coffee grounds….and tea leaves. I let the tea bag dry on a paper plate then rip the bag open, pours out….less mess. Plants are looking good! Spring has sprung!❤️🧡💚💙🩷🦋🦋🦋🌼🌼🌼

Coffee grounds are an excellent compost ingredient and are fine to apply directly onto the soil around most garden plants if used with care and moderation. Coffee grounds contain nutrients that plants use for growth. (looked that up,) i've been doing yard work, so much left to do but rain is coming tomorrow so i'll be working inside. i have a lot of papers to sort and some will be shredded. that will go into the recycle bin. a suggestion to get some roots going - clip the stems a bit on an angle so if one side of the stem isn't picking up water, the other side might since it's a bit higher on the stem about 2 weeks to eye surgery. i'm dreading it because it is a slow heal and i will have to have 2 more some months later

That's a great question! I was renting a place that abruptly changed plans and decided to sell during the Pandemic. So I had to leave. Thank God the little trailer came up and with less than a month's notice to get out, I began the journey of moving. It needed some work, but I thought I could live in one room and fix up as I went along. I was wrong because it was completely infested. After getting that under control, then the cosmetic work began, and now I have my little home!
