My 2 cents worth on the kitchen. It looks great already. I like your pantry idea where the fridge is currently but I’d put the fridge over where your freezer is now and put a coffee bar on the side wall because you could get a wider unit and not so deep. If the fridge was there, it would look like an afterthought and would stick out too far. Or put your new pantry where the freezer is now. Great home. Big and spacious. Love the kitchen table too.

I dont know if you know, but your door handles and hinges on your fridge can be switched for so you can open it from the other side which would make it more convenient for you and its a very simple fix.

This looks amazing! We just got a mobile home and are preparing to move it onto our land. So excited! Something I want lots of is recess lighting. I’ve always liked how it transforms a place. I think a white backsplash would look amazing in your kitchen!

You are doing a great job!! It takes time to get it like you want. And money is always an issue! Keep up the lovely work. I like the idea of a pantry where the frig is. I agree with Amanda, the frig would work better where the little freezer is now. It's closer to your work area. And if you went to an antique store or secondhand store you might find a nice dresser to put your coffee bar on and have a lot of hidden storage for food, pot & pans, or linens. I love table cloths. They protect your table top and can be washed easily. You can also put seasonal things such as Christmas platters, or other things that are nice to have, but that are not used all the time. The glass door in your laundry room brings in a lot of light that makes your home pleasant. You might consider painting Elmer's glue on it. It gives privacy without a huge cost and sacrificing they beautiful light. You have a good eye and will make it beautiful and functional at the same time. The

I would keep the fridge where it is now and build your coffee bar on the wall where your trash container is. Your bar stools blend so well with the counters, I wouldn’t change them

Well the furniture you have is in good shape. Just make slipcover. The pillows all you have to do is add more stuffing to them. If the furniture is comfortable, it's well worth keeping. One thing about slipcovers you can change them out with the season's. And easier to clean. I do a solid cover for the frame of the sofa and put the cushions and pillow back's in a different color. Save your money girl. I like the look of the kitchen window with out a frame around it. It looks so clean and clear.

You are doing an amazing job. It looks incredible. I would take the coffee table in the den and put it in front of the couch that separates the kitchen from the living room. That would really complete the look. And I think a pantry where the fridge is a great idea. Putting the fridge on the other wall would definitely let you have a much bigger one. Then eventually you could put more cabinets on that wall to compliment the look.

Love it! Looks a lot like mine color wise. We are remodeling ours we textured walls put new flooring and new cabinets and counters. We still have to put new crown molding and baseboards, we are about to make new door jams and put in new doors. We are also putting in new windows. First time watching!

If you are going to remodel your mobile home check if you have a Ollie's they have carpet and tile so cheap. You can get something called remenets it is carpets or tiles that are left over from commercial jobs some carpet businesses will sell them cheap. It saves so much money. Good luck and God bless you.

Hi Danie, Until you decide on the back door with the windows, there is a stick on no see thru cover you can buy at Home Depot or Loews. That way the light comes in but no one can see through it. I have it on my bathroom windows. It's great and afforable until you can decide on the next step. The clothes rod can be covered with a .99 rod cover for shower rods. You cut it to fit when you get it home. Your place looks wonderful and very airy and open. GREAT JOB TO YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND..

Great job. I am all for your idea of putting a pantry where the fridge is once you get a new one for that other wall. Your sad laundry room needs more storage, so why not consider putting wider /larger cabinets at each corner with a pole for hanging clothes in the center, and if the inside doorway in the laundry room isn't necessary, it would give you more usable wall space if you took out the door and closed it off. Maybe a mini mudroom space? Like your coffee bar idea too. Great transformation, and why not save up for a nice, (large), area rug for your living room in order to warm your space up?

Those are all great ideas! We did end up getting another fridge and putting it where the freezer was. That door in the laundry room leads to a closet but it needs new shelves in there. I am saving up to hopefully do the laundry room transformation sometime this year hopefully. Yes!! I am looking for a large area rug. It would also help preserve the flooring I think. Lovely remodel. Only thing I don’t like is putting a TV in front of a window. I love a subway tile. You could put shelves over the kitchen window, grow spices. I’ve seen people cover old fridges with wallpaper. It comes out really good. Definitely put a pantry. The laundry room needs a good paint job. Maybe open shelves. A cool wallpaper. Definitely can get it done without spending a lot of money.

I love the kitchen its gorgeous...I can't wait to remodel our kitchen in a few years. Our double wide is new but the kitchen only has 2 drawers and its kind of annoying at least to me because our single wide had 11 drawers. I think the fridge looks great where it is...and coffee bar sounds like a good idea...it would look nice there too since the light switch and plugs are there. My mom is going tiny and we've fallen in love with the custom shelving to organize pantry items depending on how much wall depth is available. I think I'd do my pantry on the wall where the trash can is...and you can do shelves custom anywhere from 6 to 15 inches deep depending on your preference and it wouldn't stick out like the fridge would. You can then create as many rows close or farther apart depending on what you're storing. I'm new to your channel but I subscribed looking forward to watching your progress :)

also...if room you could put the trash can at the end of the island in front of the stove side...or even where the freezer is it could go under the coffee bar...easy access to toss coffee trash as well...and easy to toss trash that accumulates while cooking at the stove and food prepping at the island...and then you have more wall space to do pantry between the ac thermostat and the laundry room opening....just a thought...I can't wait to see the finished product :)

@@lifewithdanie ok, since you asked… 😉 I recommend leaving the fridge and building a pantry with the premade cabinets stacked to the ceiling along that large wall instead. For two reasons, its no benefit to have a deep pantry, shallow is best for things not to get lost in the back so you’d get more pantry space. And I feel your walking traffic would get really cramped with something 24-30” deep on that wall... Maybe tape off the floor and feel it out to see if you still have enough room to walk comfortably? You’ve done amazing work to your home. I love a mobile remodel done right!! ❤️

Your fridge door handles need to be turned to open from the other side. Your fridge should open into the kitchen, not away from it. All fridges usually have the capacity to do that.

Your place looks great. I’m doing the same with my older trailer. I only have a single wide. We’re the kitchen and living room is. I’m removing the old kitchen completely and putting it in the living room space and taking the L shape of the old kitchen and making that my pantry and dining room. Luckily there is a extra room built on that was made the new living room. It’s fun taking something old and outdated and bringing new life into it.

Idk what ur plans for the laundry room is but a gallon of paint and some patch work for the wall should it be spackle caulk or drywall mud and I went to home depo bought a 12ft long I think 3 inch thick and 5-6 in wide board had them cut it to my desired length got the brackets for my shelves and every time someone sees my laundry room I get compliments a whole make over for under $80 I painted my shelve white but your style I’d imagine you’d want to stain your shelves

We don’t have any issues opening the oven door at all but we do have issues opening that cabinet drawer which I will show you guys in a future video! It was a mistake that was made when the cabinets were installed 🤦🏻‍♀️ lol thank you for watching ❤️

I love the floors and the overall look of the kitchen. But I don't think I would like the stove in the corner like that. Not very accessable. And the top cabinets look funny with the handles on the outside they should be on the other side of the doors.

I believe it was the Behr brand. I asked for Revere Pewter. The previous color was very light so we didn’t do any prep work. Just painted straight over! Thanks for watching!

Thank you!! It’s holding up good so far! I did put soft pads on the feet of all of my furniture like tables, couches and chairs so that is super helpful as far as protecting against scratches.

I know this tip is too little too late but... Buy first, then fix up. That way you can buy it for much less and then increase it's value for future equity. Having a mortgage sucks so much.
