Might need to weather strip the front door,. I could see light at top of door. If you adjust and weather strip all doors..that should also help keep your home cool. Loving the white walls! Counter tops look amazing!

I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of Annie Sloan clear wax, but Mary from “White Cottage Company”uses it a lot on her furniture that she paints…for extra protection. I was thinking about your counters.

💙🦋💙 my suggestion...keep black fireplace tiles. That will tie in with black counter tops. Also, maybe at a later date you could replace faucets with black ones. Looking good!

The black countertops look amazing! They freshened up the kitchen so much. Now with the countertops being black, you should definitely keep the tiles around the fireplace black. It ties it all together perfectly.

So excited for this!!!🩵 suggestion on the fireplace-have it cleaned, close off the damper, put in an electric fireplace insert with a blower. Then buy yourself a pretty screen. It is safe, economical and so cozy to watch as well as adding some warmth in the mornings 🦋🦋🦋Countertops look great! You will just have to see how it works with everything else once you get settled!❤

Kelly, what an amazing job you two have done! I love the black countertops! Wow....they pop off those white walls! I painted my vanity black in my front bathroom and put beaded board up and painted it white and it pops like that! Kelly, you are such a hard working woman to provide for your children. The countertops look great! I love the white/black look. & it looks like your laundry room will match nicely with that theme as well. When you build your shelving in there, you could stain the wood a black color to keep the aesthetic going. Very pretty so far! 🦋🦋🦋

Switch your fireplace to a ventless gas insert, I doubt you'd regret it. It'll light with the push of a button, no smoke, no mess and looks beautiful. You probably need your flue cleaned and inspected if you choose to keep the wood burning option. That's a routine maintenance requirement with wood burning fireplaces, look into it for your health/safety. House is looking great 👍

You should do both bathrooms the same colors as the kitchen cabinets and countertops. They came out great. I think black kitchen appliances would also match the kitchen knobs countertops and washer and dryer.

Countertops are perfect! When I eventually buy a house or mobile home I will be doing white walls with black trim/doors and then black countertops for sure in the kitchen. The contrast looks really nice!
