My brother and his family live in Boone, NC. He suffered with a landslide from the hill behind his house and trees and mud crushed his garage and part of the back side of his home. His daughter's house was flooded. Please keep them in your prayers. He sounded totally defeated.😪😪😪

Hi guys, I tell you what. My nutritionist told me not to order anything from a box anymore! So, now I only buy whole foods. Like meat broccoli, squash, apples, oranges, celery, chicken, and green beans….. you get the idea. No boxed items at all. I didn’t even try so hard and I am actually losing weight and my blood work is so much better! I’m so excited because I’m saving money and the health benefits are amazing! Love your channel!

North carolina here. We're 20 minutes to lake lure, which is just gone. Utter devastation and loss. We've been without power for 4 days with 3 kids, 5 and under. I will say im so thankful for our community and the fact were all safe and no damage to our home 🙌

The people to the west of us, Metter, Vidalia, Statesboro, and surrounding communities are devastated. Some are being told it could possibly be 3-4 weeks before all power is up and working. I feel guilty that I have power and so many of my family and friends are without. I've offered my house to them all. Told them to bring sleeping bags or blow up mattresses!

That's terrible. I'm just south of Statesville. My power was restored yesterday, after 3 days. Fortunately, I didn't have anything broken or flooded. I only had a bunch of branches come down in my yard that I'm still working on cleaning up. People in town didn't fare as well. I had generators that kept my (and my neighbors') fridge going. I-40 west, going towards Asheville is blocked off, emergency personnel only. One of my daughters lives down in Augusta, GA, and they're still without power. Lots of damage done there as well.

I just had orientation yesterday for CNA classes 😊 I officially start classes in two weeks! This is something I’ve wanted to do for a very long time and I get emotional and almost cry every single day because it’s finally happening! I’m 32 with 4 children. I became a mom at 19 and threw myself into motherhood. I put my dreams on hold. But now that my youngest is in pre school, I decided it’s my time. I love having painted nails. I can’t afford to get them professionally done so I just paint them at home, nothing fancy though. But I like to have theme colors for the holidays and such. With being a CNA, obviously you wash your hands constantly so nail polish probably won’t last very long. I’m gonna try those Dashing Diva nails! I’ll let you know how long they last after I’m officially hired as a CNA 🥹 I can’t wait to make a difference in the lives of the residents. I’m training at the nursing home my grandma lived in until she went to be with our Lord. I prayed to her as I was going through the process of applying, background checks, etc. I knew I had a clean record but when you want something so bad, you start to second guess everything 😂 My grandma was a nurse so I feel like she had a hand in all of this. She’s looking down and looking out for me ❤

Praying for everyone that was on the storm I’m in central NC and we had a tornado come through but we are ok was the scariest thing I’ve been through and I’ve been through a lot! My four year old and 2 dogs and myself was in the hallway praying to our good god for protection! My mom was visiting in Boone NC and was trapped until this evening she got in her car and drove on almost impassable roads to get out Praise God she’s safe and back home

Y’all got the water and we got the wind here in Southwest VA. Power has been out since Friday and lots of trees down. People on wells are without water. A whole tree fell exactly where my brother had been standing just a moment before. We still have so much to be thankful for! I have watched for a long time but I'm not much for commenting usually. I appreciate so much that you have this channel and share yourself and Jesus with us all!! You said once that some watch because you feel like home, I am one of those. I can feel isolated at times and I love just putting on one of your videos when I feel that way, it definitely helps. Many people's view of Christians is the stuffy "perfect" version that no one can relate to or achieve. I live in a hurricane pron region. Right outside of Houston. Down here, like folks all around the Gulf Coast, hurricanes are a part of life and stuff is built to withstand most of what is thrown at us. Including going days without A/C like when Berly hit. Harvey dumped 52 in. of rain in 4 days. The Hubby fished off our front porch to be silly. I'm glad he kept is sense of humor because I prayed that the water didn't get into the house. Thankfully God heard me. For those not used to a force of nature this devastating, it's difficult to know what to prepare for. My heart goes out to you, your loved ones, and anyone going through the aftermath.

My area was blessed beyond measure. Helene was on track to go right over us here in southwest Georgia. Then all of a sudden it shifted east. I wasn’t happy about that either. I have family on the east coast of Georgia and I couldn’t reach them until today. Luckily they are all fine. No power for a few more days but the worst damage my cousin actually had was her under pinning blew out but her house is fine.
