Katrina changed our lives forever here in South Mississippi. Helene has changed yours forever. God will take care of the people in your area like He took care of us. It took years and years for us to get back to normal, but with God’s grace , we have grown and have come back better than ever before. Have your friends put foot to prayer and when the waters recede, help your neighbors with things as simple as washing muddy linens and clothes. Help impacted people drain water out of their frames with family photos. You will find that when people lose all the big material things, they are very thankful for the small things they can salvage. The trick to making powdered milk taste as close to regular milk is to add a pinch or two of sugar and make sure it is dissolved good. Milk that is bought at the grocery store has sugar....I learned the sugar trick when my daughter was young. She never knew the difference. Love the brick work in the kitchen. I am wanting to try that in my kitchen, but scared of messing up. Glad you all are safe, and have plenty of food and water. Glad you're able to help Granny out.

Try mixing it half and half with your regular milk first to get used to the taste and gradually use less regular and more dry. And if you make it up, let it chill overnight in the fridge because it is way better tasting cold. Take Care!

Hi, I’m from Kentucky too. I love this Channel. She has changed my life more than she will ever know. I’m so overwhelmed right now with my house getting organized and I have problems getting up and get things done. I watch her channel and say to myself if she can, take care of 4 children and run a household, cooking, cleaning, fixing up her home, then I can too. However, with prices so high on flooring I need done, and decluttering, I say to myself it will get done and just thank God I have my home and just do one room at a time. Merina it’s your home do what you want to do. Every time my kids see me with a paint brush they say “oh lawd again”, and my response is “I’m adding insulation to the walls”. Also your flour and sugar can be vacuumed pack and put in the freezer. Don’t worry if you are hoarding essentials, you have a family to feed. I keep a good supply of essentials all the time. We were hit really bad here too so glad to see you’re all okay we had trees falling all around us just cracking all over n I was just standing there at the door praying in the dark as I heard them falling n they finally fell out back n hit my shed with all my belongings in it

Take all the time you need! The biggest aspect of home improvement is decision making. That is not something that comes easy for a lot of us! We learn and grow from those decisions. Merina, those of us who love you, truly love you, understand what you're doing. I have lived a life very similar to yours and I get it. I honestly think you help people who you will never know you helped because you do things the way you do. You don't cut out the portions of your videos that show you being indecisive and getting a little in your feelings. That helps people to feel not so alone. Loving the new stain much better than the one you had.. I love what you did in the single wide so when you went with a lighter stain I personal did not care for it but it's your home there for your choice. I will say it was starting to grow on me but when you did this color it put a smile on my face 😁😁 Like many of us have said YOU DO YOU! That is why I love your channel for you and Shane..

Girl....I'm the same way lol I've been "remodeling " 😅 my kitchen for like 2 or so years lol. I have vhanged the paint color of my cabinets and walls so many times. Changed layout few times build stuff tore it down then re build it again tore it down put up wall paper tore it down painted hated everything I end up getting done and now I put shiplap on my walls painted them white and painted cabinets black and wood counter tops. I'm becoming more and more happier with it this ho around but I do see things I wish I would have changed but I'm to far in I'm almost at finish line that I'm just gonna deal with it for now lol. I'm also OCD and have anxiety issues. I change my mind so much
