Such a great idea to use the scrap metal dust. I wonder if it will have a vibration dampening affect as a bonus?!
@jp-makes2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! 🤝I've used it, and it sure does reduce vibration! However, the mounting of the tire section may eventually deteriorate since the shaft is only held on one side. This is something to reflect on in this project😌

Thanks for watching! With the scrap metal it worked out somehow! It's appropriated from one of my other videos, but I'm happy with the music and how it was made to match the video!If you visit again I will be happy!💗

Well you are certainly back on your feet! Is that your new shop? The vise and the new stand is just awesome. You're such a good welder. I have just gotten my first little welding machine, jeez, it's really difficult!

Thanks Jesper! My legs are 90% ok✊ I‘ll be able to graduate from the rehab center next month. However, there is a scene in this video where I sprained my foot. It is the scene where I finish picking out the scrap outdoors and go back inside, and if you listen carefully, you can hear me saying "ugh" lol!😂 This is the welding company where my job. I used a secret key to sneak in and build it on my day off. Oooh! Jesper bought a welder too! Nice! I'm looking forward to broadening your production horizons!⚡️ You have a lot of sidekicks that have not yet appeared in your video, including a large band saw, a table saw, and a shaper. I' m very much looking forward to it!💪☺️

How many times has the tripod design allowed it to tip over of your clamping down on the short end of a longer piece? With same goals in mind I might have tried a set of four outrigger style legs/feet.

Nice job, that looks both good and useful! And a good use of metal dust! 😁 You made that big metal clipper look pretty scary... 😬 Did you feel any UV side effects after welding with that much skin exposed? 🤔
@jp-makes2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Regarding UV protection, this seems to be related to skin type. We yellow people have a medium percentage of melanin pigmentation and do not need to be too sensitive. (Of course I apply UV cream every day ^_^). Long sleeves and aprons are rather dangerous as they cause machine entrapment and clothing combustion. So in the winter, work wear get torn to shreds very quickly and it is very hard. The video would cause misunderstandings. Thanks for your valuable input!✌️

@@jp-makes Ah, of course - your complexion gives you a leg up on us pale northerners. I'm not a big fan of sunscreen as it is, so I go the route of covering clothes, even though it's an added risk. But a risk you are aware of can at least be mitigated!

Thanks for your valuable input! I am always struggling with how to show safety when making a video every time. It's great to be able to look at this subject with a global eye and think about it, and KZbin is so inspiring because get to see making from every country!🤗

Nice job, you may want to wear a welding helmet, a hot BB in the ear is no fun.....
@jp-makes Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment! I appreciate it very much. For some reason you are well aware that sparks often go into your ears!^_^ Do you weld a lot too? I have been working for a welding company that deals with thin steel for 10 years now. I have tried various protective gear and arrived at my current equipment in the video. I have watched many videos over the years about welding in different countries. I live in Asia, which is still a work in progress and the market for PPE seems very weak. Old craftsmen still weld with their left hand holding a protective surface. These are very interesting to me. My grandfather, who is now deceased, was one of them. Yet he was able to perform many jobs perfectly and safely with light equipment. Light equipment, work efficiency, safety. I realized that these values vary from country to country, The journey to find the answers to these questions continues. I respect those who watch and give me advice. I will continue to learn more and study my behavior so that they can watch my videos with peace of mind. Thank you so much!
