I remember many times hearing the movement and cracking of ice in a great body of water like a mountain lake...kinda like an interesting moaning sound---like an elk bugle. What a sound! Diamond Beach-cool!

Fascinating look at the icebergs in part1 & part2. Enjoyed the sights and sounds particularly Diamond beach-would love to explore those melting pieces of ice on the black stone beach. Thanks for the map, stats and humor too:). Iceland has definitely moved up my bucket list. Thanks for sharing all these videos of your awesome trip to Iceland!

So beautiful, there just aren't any words to describe how stunning those pieces of ice on the beach really are. Just amazing the way nature is and what it does, always maintaining that birth, life, death cycle. With gigantic glaciers down to icebergs and then finally to virtual sculpted ice, so awesome. Thank you for showing us this truly breathtaking part of the beautiful country of Iceland, you can see how it got it's name. x

Wish I had posted this comment sooner. You are all about scenery which I love and find fascinating. THANK YOU!!!!!!! However I also love food. You have mentioned going to eat a few times. Is the food anything special. Wish you would give us a TASTE of the food. Also, maybe later down the road you could give us a 'how to' as to what's involve in getting a trip like this together. Keep up the great filming. It's better than travel channels. More honest, no doubt.

Amazing to see something like that. Strikes me as Eerily calm and peaceful there. I wonder how old those icebergs that break loose are? How long ago it frozen to finally ending up breaking off into the ocean.

Your video felt like we were right there with you strolling Diamond Beach. It was refreshing to watch because you gave attention to the natural wonder and not on yourself. I loved the detail and insight you gave! Did you even realize that one of the pieces of ice you held with the hole was in the shape of a heart?😊

I loved the video but would rather be there in person. That will never happen so I'll settle for your more than adequate tour guidance. I love the blue color of some of the ice. I also agree with someone else who said they would love to know about some of the food you've had while traveling there.

Nothing to out of the ordinary actually. That soup I talked about in the first iceberg video was amazing but just a vegetable soup. I've seen reindeer burgers on the menu too.

If you break pieces off of that ice and let it melt, you should have some of the freshest drinking water on the planet. It would be a carbon emission-free. That ice could be thousands if not millions of years old.

Naw, not "tragic", its just part of nature, which by the way includes humans and what we do. And despite the media hype, Earth is actually headed for another ice age.

I love your work but if the ice has passed through that waterway for thousands of years why is that “tragic”? The climate has been changing for millions of years that’s just part of Earth’s history!

Climate change?! Please stick to exploring and leave the myths out of it. We get enough of that everywhere else.
@susanbrown2909
@susanbrown2909 5 жыл бұрын
Neil Roy “Climate change”..Americans :don’t realise it,because they live nearer the artic circle ;so you still see colder conditions there. However in the UK;we notice it far more. Hardly any frosts or snow now compared to 60s. So..it affects us more, and we can see the weather changes . It’s not a myth.!! I much prefer to believe true scientists back up on this ; then a bunch of has been mercenary scientists saying what their pay masters want them to say ;for vested business interests ,to keep on polluting at the expense of the planet .
@NeilRoy
@NeilRoy 5 жыл бұрын
@@susanbrown2909 I checked the science, and real scientists state it is false. Also, the Earth hasn't warmed in over a decade, as a matter of fact, this has been one of the coldest years on record. Scientists have already found out that sunspot effect our temps, not man. Back in 2005 they discovered that CO2 doesn't cause warming... heck, the man that first came up with the idea of CO2 causing warming changed his mind about it in 1991! It's a LIE. Oh sure, we get warm weather and we get cold weather, that's NORMAL and NATURAL. One volcanic eruption produces FAR MORE toxins into the atmosphere in one eruption that man has ever did in history! As for Americans... well, I am in Canada, I am as far north as you are in the UK. Americans are farther SOUTH, I don't know how you see them as farther north?! Better check your globe again.
