Thanks for making a video and sharing your experience for all of us! Just so you know, those PVC sleeves are known to leach chemicals onto the vinyl surface and increase surface noise. Looks like they have resealable bags, which are a much safer choice.

Just to clarify. CMYK is a normal printing process. Most all printed materials printed professionally are done 4-color process (CMYK, Cyan, yellow, magenta, key)((key is black)). your cover in the review is a satin or matte finish, so that adds to a darker look, as well as the brightness of the paper stock used to print on.obviously the brighter the stock the brighter the printing will look. You also have to keep in mind how the files were prepared for printing. Screens show you're art in RGB mode, so unless your screen color is calibrated to match CMYK profiles, it will never look exactly the same as print. CMYK is done with ink on paper, RGB is three colors of light on screen. If your files are professionally produced per the vendors specifications, you should be happy with your printed results.

I noticed the back of your record jacket has the Mobiko logo on it. Is that required by the company? I would not want that logo on mine. I would be providing them with my own art.

$17 a piece at cost. 100 12 inch vinyl records. I think it was about $1800 with test pressings shipping included.

Photoshop, the monthly license. I have Photoshop Elements, but it doesn't have nearly as many features as the monthly license version, that's why I got the monthly license! :)

Thanks for the review! Sorry if I missed this detail, but which cutting option did you choose: 1) Loud Cut, 2) Normal Cut + Fidelity, 3) Normal Cut + Loudness? And were you happy with this choice?

Tx for your question Chris, I should have mentioned that! Normal Cut + Fidelity. Yes I was happy with it (the test pressing), although if I didn't like it I could have asked for a redo of the lacquer. A part of me wonders what it would have sounded like with 1 or three but alas, you can only choose one. But yeah, test pressings=good idea! 😄

Did any of your vinyls arrive warped/bent at all or all good?

Most of them were not but some had the tops of the jacket bent. I didn't inspect all units but all the records I checked (about 20) were intact and defect free ✌
